Only one ship is ready right now. For three you would need to wait another month. However, I only want to trade one ship currently as I want to build up a powerful navy. So, 1 ship for 4 bombers?

Today in the Coalition, The department of the navy finally released photos of five new ships.
http://img717.imageshack.us/img717/3998/cheyennefleet.png
These ships are the cutting edge of the navies defense force.

The newest Knightfall class super carrier uses an advanced trimaran hull for faster deployment. It can carry 4000 troops, and up to 60+ aircraft.

The Anchorage amphibious assault ships can carry a total of 4 LCAC, and 30 aircraft, along with 1850 troops, and navy personnel.
They are armed with 8 AA systems, and 4 missile tubes.

The Prince Ferris class LCAC can carry a total of 2 tanks, or a more appropriate 8 APCs, or 10 ASV. Its armed with four U60 machine guns for defense. It can also carry 200 men.

The Tomahawk class stealth cruiser is an advanced sea borne ship that uses radar absorbing material, and sound dampening technology. Its hull is covered in a sound absorbing shaped coating. Its armed with 50 cruise missiles, four deployable anti ship missile launchers, and a deployable 155 mm cannon.

The Vangaurd class nuclear attack sub is a advanced stealthy ship equipped with a silent propulsion engine, 4 torpedo tubes, and 10 missile silos. They are also used for anti ship capability using advanced supercavitating torpedoes

Shortly after realeasing photos of the Coalitions naval forces, the department of the airforce released photos of the Blacksword AWACs and GAWP.
http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/7796/awacs.png

The Blacksword cargo transport can carry 200 troops, or 80, and an APC, or two ASV.

The Blacksword AWACs is equipped with a 40mm bofers, and a advanced long range radar system.
These are used as mobile command centers, and to guide aircraft and ships. It can also be used as a submarine hunter using sonar, and can drop Bueys and torpeados.

The Blacksword Ground Assault Weapons Platform, is equipped with a 40mm bofers, a 30mm gattling gun, and a 105mm cannon. These are used to level targets beyond recognition.

All three aircraft have a long range, and a decent speed. The transport can be converted into a mid air refeuler. They are all equipped with countermeasures.

The Government of Arkaden has announced that we will be ROC'n in and taking over the corrupt government in 88 and 89,

I thought you where taking over space 78, also you can only take over one nation at a time, then a two weeks cool downtime, after you take over 3 nations you can take two at a time.

Yeah, Im low on parts.... And I know they're not that good, maybe I should go to LDD...

Well, after viewing the ships, I can tell you a few things. The destroyer is horrendously under-armed (try looking at a real life destroyers armament on Wikipedia), the carrier should also have more firepower and no torpedoes, and as for the submersible carrier, I'm honestly not sure if it's allowed. There were a few in WW2...

Early today Coalition forces received shocking information that unknown aircraft have been harassing our airspaces. The sleek craft have been spotted on radar flying at high altitudes above the western Coalition. These aircraft flew at altitudes undetectable to midrange ground radar used by the army. A naval AWACs engaged a craft believed to be a SR-M3 prototype. It is still unknown as to its intentions but the makings are not of Conglomerate origin. The craft however swift was forces down by QAAM missiles, and crashed somewhere in the arctic sea. Still the Conglomerates push across the pacific ocean have stirred up relations even more so with a lack of a reply.

The army ordered four GAWP gunships into territory 172, believed to be the source of the craft, and shortly after they were forced to destroy several Hangers containing cold war era bio weapons. The new blacksword aircraft are proving usefull in the specific roles at hand. The air force plans to continuing production until 2014.

Lastly it seems that the Atlantic ocean is becoming crowded with new nations, this can be seen as bad news given the crowded borders, newer nation are forming around older ones blocking the hopes of expansion. This is already apparent with the Empire of Gual, which is being surrounded on all sides.

The Conglomerate denies any responsibility for this unknown aircraft, and would like to point out none of our aircraft have the range to fly that far in the first place.

The Conglomerate has announced a long-term project to update and enlarge it's navy. We have realised that while we have plenty of naval aircraft, they currently have no carriers and therefore are restricted to naval aviation bases. Because of this, a new carrier is being designed to allow us to have increased power-projection capabilites.

Besides this, several new ship classes are being built to replace some of our exsiting classes, which many of our designers have called "ugly" and "so bad a 16 year old could have designed it". At least a new amphibious assult ship/minicarrier, littoral combat ship, and a amphibious transport dock are exspected to be built, and our cruisers and subs will be updated.

The Coalition finds this advance in the conglams naval forces both unnessessary, and extremely uncommendable on there part.

There push across the Pacific is deemed extremely threatening in every way. First off is claiming Pacific islands with little natural recourses, and combined with there claimed path that at the longest point is roughly 5000+ miles from the Conglams homeland, and 2500 miles from our southern shores. Then we have the conglam increasing its already large amphibious strike force, and making carriers that can carry more aircraft, sending more than half there navy westward CAN NOT be construed as an attack on a puny NPC island chain.

That’s like the DIA sending an entire cities police force to arrest a small time pot head in an back alley, and behind the back alley is the entire Columbian mob... Only in this case the mob is smuggling aid relief and the alley is three states over.

These actions combined with your governments lack of replies on the matter is to much for the federal government to stomach.
Sadly we are cutting all ties with your government today, we are blocking sea trade with an official embargo. All Conglomerate ships are to be turned away by the Naval defence force, and any further actions by the Congam west of T-183 "into alliance waters" will be deemed proven as a further proof of Conglams intentions of hostility.

We URGE the conglam to respond to this message. You have four days to participate in a peace conference before this takes full effect.

In the terms of our proposed treaty we only demand that Conglomerate cuts its naval force in the Pacific west of the pacific maps 150 parallel "pacific past the 150 parallel mind you" … in half.
This should not seem to costly, If I was in command of your forces I would accept, The Coalition has stayed out of everyone’s hair until now, but we take our isolation seriously since we really don’t want war with another nation.

The Conglomerate disagrees with the charges that this was either unnessessary or uncommendable.

Several other countries, including the Coalition, have already begun construction of carriers and other types of ships, we are simply trying to keep up. And without carriers, our fleet of naval fighters would quite simply have been a waste of money. These island chains have been historical ours, and we have only recently recovered enough to begin to reclaim them.

We fully admit our desire to resume control of these islands is for primarily military purposes, but it would seem that the Coalition is confused over the naval forces that were dispatched. The vast majority of the ships were either cargo ships or amphibs in a cargo configuration, and the few combat ships present are there for escort duties only. The simple reason for so many ships is the fact that there are many islands that we have landed on and that many supplies, equipment, and personal are needed. Most of the work initially being focused on improving infastructure.

We honestly have no idea what the Coalition is refering to when they say "your governments lack of replies on the matter", as this was their first time to contact us on this matter. It would seem they have jumped to a hasty conclusion on this matter and we fear that they have greatly overeacted. As it stands, we agree to travel no further than 183, and never intended to regardless.

While we honestly feel that the Coalition is all bark and no bite due to currently having virtually no way to oppose our navy even if it wanted to, and has no real airforce to speak of either, we will consider the terms regardless. We ask what exactly the Coalition plans to do if we choose not to accept, and why we should agree to it. The Conglomerate would also point out that no ships of ours have even passed the 150 in the first place.

Obviously, it was a joke.

Knowing him though...

Today the federal government after hearing out the Conglomerate agreed that our rush to defensive mode was somewhat unnecessary. Due to a slight misunderstanding of the situation that seemed ominous, we were happy to hear that the Conglomerate agreed to our proposal.

In other news, The biological weapons found in T-172 have been seen by defense annalists as a large threat to the nations security. This is also reinforced by the large quantities of the newer super virus's that have appeared all over the globe. Upon inspection of the new Ev3 strain that was discovered in T-172, the nation has concluded that new virus's can be traced back to the cold war. The Small pox strain in T-129 shows a striking similarity to the Ev3, although the virus in T-172 is a more advanced strain.
Ev3 is thought to be a super mutated strain of Anthrax, but the scientists sent to investigate the area went missing. At 12:30 Pm a blacksword cargo aircraft dropped a non nuclear Air blast bomb into the base. Recon crews that went into the area after reported that no toxins could be found in the air. A single sample that remained was found in a hermetically sealed container, It has been shipped back to the Alliance Medical facility for study, and hopefully a cure can be found.

The confederation of Gaufran has shocked the world today, as it's modest number of tanks, thought to be on a training excercise in east Gaufran, emerged from the blizzards on the T90 border. The first wave of tanks quickly eliminated the border gaurds with machinegun fire, before making a headlong push for the capitol. The following infantry enforced their positions with anti-tank mines in the event of a counter attack, but these proved unecessary as the country was caught off gaurd by the dawn attack. The lead Tyrants of the first armored cavalry quickly advanced, using their mine-ploughs to clear a path for the following men and vehicles. Three columns of tanks proceeded with only light resistance until an official surrender from the territory's capitol halted the bloodshed just 50 miles short of the capitol. The head of the confederation will make an official statement tommorow.

(Note: I still agree to the treaty, and this is a out of universe reply ) I feel should be pointed out that your navy and airforce in it's current form does not represent a credible threat to the Conglomerate's newest aquisition, as the aircraft carrier and the amphib have no aircraft to speak of, and your two other ships would have been horrendously outnumbered. Same for your aircraft, none of which besides the stealth bombers have good survivability agianst enemy fighters or AA defence. There's no doubt that your forces could cause a lot of havoc(especially the sub and bombers), but they can't really dislodge my forces either at this point of the game.

This is all true, but we shouldn’t be seen as a real threat anyway as I had always intended the Coalition to take a defensive stance on everything. Our navy will have more ships in the future, but It still remains a defense force. The Coalition despite not being prepared for a war with another nation would still defend itself the best it could in an attack, even if all it could do is cause havoc. It would gladly negotiate first, even if the enemy committed unspeakable crimes "that the Conglomerate has not"

Ok, the rule is:
You can take 1 territory at a time without a severe economic collapse, until you conquer 3 territories, then you can take 2 ata time. The point of the rule is to advise you the best way to take territories. You can take 2+ territories at a time currently, but your economy will suffer greatly. So I and several others advise you only take 1, unless you are OK with a bad economy. It will recover, but the cooldown(your economy rebuilding) will be at least(and most likely more than) 2x as long.

Yeah, pretty much this. Taking two at a time is short term gain-long term loss. It's not neccasirly a bad idea, but it does penalise you.

The Conglomerate is proud to announce work on it's naval forces is going well, and plans to soon show the world it's modernised navy. Currently, we have finished designing our supercarrier, assualtship/carrier hybrid, littoral comabt ship, new attack sub, and amphibious transport dock as well as upgrading our existing cruisers and submarrines.
A small LCAC has been finished, and a larger one is currently under construction. As for naval aviation, several helicopters as well as up to 2 VTOL fighters are being designed. While normally this would take a long time for our designers to complete, they were blessed with a 4 day weekend free from any homework, so they have been able to be highly productive.

In other news, the Conglomerate's recent exspansion to it's neighboring island chain is going well, with the progress on upgrading and repairing the various ports, naval facilites, and airfields currently at 65% completion. We have allowed to current govering body to stay, and are acting in an advisery role, mainly a hands off approach on day to day govering except for the regular buisness of bringing the areas up to Conglomerate standards. Our overall reception by the general population has been lukewarm, but they have slowly been warming to us, and we fully exspect relations to improve over time.

While we have been working to smooth over relations with the Confederation, due to somewhat hostile rhetoric by the PRN and their agressive move of attacking the neighboring Federation of Hjüldos, we worry that they may attempt to launch a strike on our recent aquisition. While we currently lack the carriers needed to deploy large numbers of aircraft, 3 squadrens of F-18s and 1 squadren of F-15s are currently being based in our new land-based naval and airforce facilites to provide the airpower critical to defending ourselves if attacked.

STATUS REPORT:
General Boldwin, 2nd Armored Battalion
2228, 11.11.2012

The enemies are better trained and equipped than we expected, however, we are getting closer and closer to our victory.

Yesterday, probably one of the biggest tank battles happened these days on the Yanak plateau. It lasted 3 hours. The fight was pretty intensive. They used upgraded T-77s, didn't stand a chance. Although several of our Conquerors got detracked but luckily, we didn't have any casualties. Our tanks proved to be impenetrable from the front with those guns.

We took out 120 tanks and several other APCs and IFVs. They lost a lot of their vehicles. Hopefully, this will make them realize they can't hold out for much longer and give up soon.

Boldwin out.

And Daniel will have to start producing vehicles, so he wont have hundreds. Just dozens, maybe a few. And this may be edited if I think of anything else.

Hmmm... the Conglomerate may be able to loan you the use of an amphibious assualt ship escorted by a cruiser. Of course, we would need something in return, and you don't have any type of vehicle we are interested. Perhaps we could have the right to set up a small naval base on one of the smallest islands there once you conquer it?

Sure, we'd be happy to help. We can give you 2 naval bases(one in the North and one in the south possibly) You can establish naval bases when it is cmpletely taken. We need enough carriers to transport 20 Palavens, a lift-off pad for 20 ROCs, 10 Silverfish and 30 Minihorses. We would like to use 2 UAVs also. So.... 2 Carriers may suffice(not sure if that word is used correctly)(Im not familiar with Naval ship capacities, correct me if Im wrong.) If Mr. Boone happens to post his stats and take the territory though, we'll need a few more ships....

Well, I'm offering an amphibious assualt ship. It's like a carrier, except smaller and in general they carry landing craft and helicopters instead of fighters. Check this out for a rough idea of what my ship is like: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wasp_class_amphibious_assault_ship

Mr. McCall.

What is your estimated time of arrival at your passengers shore? Moving at about 22 knots (as per your source material) from the west coast... either northern passage or Panama (if allowed) The better part of three days just to get to Arkaydia right? Call it one day to up-load all that cargo (one day is conservative) and one day to cross the Atlantic? I come up with 5 days.

Is your math different?

I wonder if Svadakistan will wake up and smell the Statistics Thread before you can open your new puppet theater.

And…do you think we should lock this thread and jump to NNC IV ? I think the conversation will get garbled if we don’t.

I would sure think I could use the canal, especially since Tongaria is the Conglomerate's greatest and most consistant ally. Anyway, 22 knots is correct, I would have said a week to arrive but maybe 6 days?...

It's like watching two drunk neighbors yell at each other at 4:00 in the morning!

It's just odd.

Yeah, by wanting to invade the island Paperweight requires my help and leaves himself somewhat vulnerable, and he completely ignores the idea of attacking his currently defenseless opponent directly. As for Daniel, his stubborn refusal to do his stats and instead keep building new stuff is face-palm worthy. XD

Arkaden has realesed it's first naval ship, the Warrior-Class Amphibious Assault Ship. One of these ships, the ANS Deep Reverence can be viewed here:http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/346575

Can anyone tell me the reference of the ship's name?
