You have undoubtedly brought war to these pages now.
Bah, I may as well join in. I prefer Halo. Don't get me wrong, I like Call of Duty (somewhat); it's fun when you want to shoot some people, and the zombies mode is great, but I've been a Halo fan since well before I even heard of CoD.
Halo, in my opinion, actually has story-lines in the campaign modes, or at least much better ones than in CoD, as well as being less repetitive. Treyarch seem to have the right idea, or at least a better idea than Infinity Ward.
Also, the Halo multiplayer is much more interesting and varied, and you can go for longer than 15 seconds without being killed, most of the time anyway. Forge mode allows for creativity, as well as the armour customisation, which is going to be improved again in Halo 4 from what I can tell so far. Sure, you can customise your weapons in CoD, and I get frustrated when someone else picks up one of my guns, but still, I think Halo wins in terms of variation.
I can't really defend Call of Duty much because I can't say as much as I can about Halo. However, if Treyarch continues with a popular game-mode, I'm looking forward to future zombies in Black Ops II.
Overall, Halo>CoD.
I hope you're happy with my essay :P
