Thanks for the invite! I've added a four wide Viper, but hopefully I will build something a bit more interesting for the contest ;)

Just started something far more interesting for this contest, though it won't be finished anytime soon, I'm starting college in a few days. Plus the fact its going to be 16 wide.. Hopefully I'll have it up before the deadline, thanks!

Great! Haha and don't be so pessimistic, you never know... I just enjoy these contests because it's great to see what other people make, and I'm sure many of you are providing inspiration for each other without even knowing it. So keep at it :)

Haha I thought a lot of you would be waiting for the american car contest... I have a feeling this one will have quite a few entries to sift through at the end of it!

Oooh sounds good :) You can do quite a lot with a 16-wide body. I'm sure you'll have plenty of time; that is why I give two-month long contests.

No problem; I wouldn't be getting much success with contests if I didn't invite people lol

...And as there is only one more contest afterwards for this year (french cars) y'all can plan in advance what you're going to build for that one :)

Since we've done every other country listed on the homepage.... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/France ! At least that's my guess, I haven't the slightest what it 'officially' is. =)

Hi Dan, I have one question: What do you say about a DeLorean? The headquarters were in Detroit, but development was mainly made by Lotus and the factory was in Northern Ireland... So, would you accept a DeLorean as an American car?

I agree, it's a tricky one... but I think if you ask anyone, the DeLorean is considered an american car, not a british one. So yeah, you can get away with that.

Yeah, no problem. You're allowed to delete entries and replace them as much as you like, so long as there aren't more than two entries at the end of it.
