as soon as the judges have judged all R1 entries, we will begin R2.

contestants, if you have entries that someone has not judged, please post a comment here.

qualification for R2 is a score of 20.

for every entry you score 20, that's how many entries you get in R2.

lol Don't worry I've been working on a huge dragon lately (which I refuse to post until I finish the legs but they're giving me trouble) and only meant that I need to think of ideas for round 2. Is there a certain theme or a different set of rules i.e. more or less than 8x8?

No, the contest is for flexible figs, not specifically flexible figs using rubber bands. Rubber bands are just the most common way to do it. Any type of flexibility is allowed.

ok, first of all, it was a completely even base, except for the water and sand traps, which were nice additions. What would have been really cool would be some nice landscaping.

also, I really dislike the black piece he is standing on, it just looks out of place.

with the water, the edges are too blocky. some sideways green cheese slopes could be used to make it less blocky.

To ad to what Tim said, you should have added more detail regarding the grass, a couple of stems on the side of it would have helped.

The "black" piece is actually dark green, to represent the rough. Golf courses are usually flat, in an 8x8, any terrain would've looked kinda extreme. I agree about the water trap edges.

Quoting SuperSpy X

The "black" piece is actually dark green, to represent the rough. Golf courses are usually flat, in an 8x8, any terrain would've looked kinda extreme. I agree about the water trap edges.

yeah, after I typed it, I realised it was dark green - but that just shows how bad your lighting was, then.

from what I've seen of golf (not much), the greens are usually on some kind of slope... It didn't have to be much...

If there is a round three, when will it begin?
Also, how is the winner determined? The person who gets the highest score total, or the highest score in the last round?

Hey congrats on first for round two bro! And I am astonished that I am tied for third! Good luck in the third round and I hope you get some kind of leeway for winning round two.
