The number of people lie. c:

Seriously, although this is a generic type of contest, I'd be happy to do this!

Is there a vague theme that this will be on or could it be anything at all?
Oh and you could try inviting The Essence of Randomness, Jenson Anderson and Elite Brigadier Callum too.

Ok, so a vignette is 8x8 right?
I have a few ideas of what I could do... or I could just enter my vignette from the flexible figs contest :P Is that allowable?

In this contest, each round will have a specific size limit. Some categories may be bigger than that, some smaller.

Each MOC must be built after the starting date. Also, you will have to make sure that your entry fits the category.

Any overhang allowed? Thanks for inviting me BTW. It'll be nice to build something completely different from cars!

In my vig, I'm hoping the size is big enough for a 4-wide car.

Pretty much reasonable overhang. A few plants, arms, legs, etc is fine, but not much more.

If there are ~40 entrants, shouldn't four or five people move on to the second round?

If there really are 40 people that enter, then yes. However, I factored in the amount of people who will likely forget about this contest or just not enter. But if we really do get that many entries, then 4 people will move on.

I don't see why not. =) It just has to fit into the rules of whatever category you get. (Or at least that's my understanding)

Yes. Just remember, the categories aren't necessarily 8x8, they might allow bigger or require smaller.

A vignette is pretty much a small scene. Size restrictions will be specified in the category.
