So you three judges need to pick a category. Flare and I both like all of these. Actual starting date is the 13 of December.
Give us a scene from the old west. It could be a shootout at high noon, a prospector in the woods by the river, a saloon complete with a drunken brawl... your choice, just set it in the old American western style.
Build an optical illusion in Lego form. For inspiration of what kind of thing we're talking about, check out Legohaulic's awesome work here. (DO NOT COPY THIS, only for inspirational purposes and to show you the kind of thing we're looking for.) http://mocpages.com/moc.php/316233
The Taj Mahal, The Eiffle Tower, Big Ben, The Great Pyramid of Giza. Pick a famous landmark and show us your version of it. Microscale or minifig scale, it's up to you!
The Grey's research project:
Ok, so there's plenty of UFO talk out there about aliens studying us right? Well. what do they think of us? Your job is to provide us with a brief documentary type moc detailing what the Grey's (or any other alien species) think about Earth and the strange talking monkeys that live there. Think nature documentary on the discovery channel detailing the daily lives of termites or something along those lines but from the alien's point of view. Permalink
Quoting Flare .
OK, judges, does the landmark need to be something that still exists today or something that used to exist but doesn't anymore?
It has to be something recognizable (like either from photos or pictures or real life).
Like I would allow both the Eiffel tower (a present day landmark) and also the great pyramids of Giza with their finished cap (from before). Permalink
Hi Masked and judges -
I am very sorry but I will have to leave the moc-off. I haven't had time to build anything for the moc-off, I don't have any inspiration for the build, and I just really have to focus on the last couple tests I have in this semester of school.
So I'm very sorry, and Masked, enjoy your defaulted win ;)
