So, let's face it, there are quite a few ways to build a military MOC, either realistic, with different modern day weapons and the like. Or, futuristic, custom weapons vehicles etc etc. I prefer futuristic because I have the pieces for it, and it's fun to create the weapons and stuff. What's your opinion?

For me, it's something in between. I don't really like to build military battles from nowadays but futuristic is quite unreal (I like Star Wars fight, though). I prefer the era from 2030-2050 if we look at the prosperity of the western countries. Can you call that futuristic now?

Honestly, I haven't done any military builds (yet!). But I'd go more towards the futuristic style that's closer to star wars. :D

Haha, futuristic is a lot of fun to build in, I don't do to much star wars though : all my stuff is custom and made up from my own imagination :) (it usually revovles around an oppressive "empire" and a rebelion :p)

Personally, i prefer modern (contemporary) builds, but i do often invent my own 'next generation' version of the build i am making - mostly out of lazyness to avoid the accuracy-issue when building vehicles similar to existing ones :-D

I prefer both modern and WW2 themed builds, realistic ofcourse.

I like all military creations but my favorite are future and near future. Near future is basically modern with a few new realistic technologies. I have alot of this kind of MOC.
