Hi, everyone, I just joined today, and I would like to know: what exactly is a MOC-off? I haven't participated in many contests, so I don't know a lot about them. Also, how do I join contests in this group?

It's a person versus person with MOCS.

It's great that you joined! Welcome!

Question 1 answer: A MOC-off is basically a contest set up between you and one other person. You and the other person set up rules for your one-on-one contest. You build and then judges who volunteered (and you accepted of course) will judge your two entries to see who wins!

Question 2 answer: Normally we have sign-ups for joining contests in this group. So if you see a sign-up thread that isn't locked, go ahead and sign-up if you want to join that contest. Right now, there aren't any contests that need to be signed-up for. To "sign-up" for a MOC-off, just go to the "Find and Opponent" thread http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=22056&topicid=89618

To get an overview of how the MOC-offs work besides what I wrote here, look in this thread:

I hope this helps!

The judging system is already set. It's based on voting with a reason why the judge liked the creation he voted for better than the opponent's entry.

Why is the group locked? I know I'm not in a MOC-off right now, but for those who ARE...

Is it okay to post my entry before all three judges are found?

hi what do i need to do to challenge someone and how?

I know I'm not a admin but here's what you need to do:
The first thing you have to do is go to the 'Find A Opponant' thread which you've already done. Only members of the group can verse you so if you want to verse someone who isn't a group member, I guess you'll just have to ask them to join so you can verse them. Once you have a opponant, ask for a MOC-off thread ( There's a thread specifically for that ) and the admins will make one for you and your opponant. From there you'll have to decide how many rounds you'll have, how much time per round you'll have, when the deadline is, and how many judges you'll have. The rest will be explained in the MOC-off thread by the admin who created the thread for you. Hope this helps! :)

Yep, everything's online. You choose what type of contest you want. ( City, Bionicle, Micro-scale, etc. )

Most of the people from i Brick are part of this group as far as I know. The way you get judges is by commenting in the 'Find Judges' thread asking for judges. You can only do this after you get all of your details set. Then anyone who wants to be a judge in your contest will volunteer.

If they aren't in the group, the best thing you can do is comment on one of there creations asking them to join. If they don't get back to you and they are the only person you want to verse you could either wait for a little longer or ask them again.

I would like to have Michael Kringe as a judge for my MOC-off because he is really good with custom Minifigs.
