I am glad you accepted my challenge, and I hope that we both have a good time and make some great mocs for this contest. I have a few questions before we start discussing the contest: 1) Do you build Bionicle/Hero Factory MOCs? 2) Do you enjoy sci-fi and/or Star Wars models? 3) Do you want to compete with a vignette, action figure, or vehicle?

The rules are as follows: The contestant must build a MOC with no more than 50 pieces, and the creation must be a vehicle. The deadline is July 25.

Thank you very much, sir. The form of judging has not yet been decided, but I will give you the details in due time.

I'm all virtual. I have done star wars in the past but I am not great.
I am massively good at semi-realistic sci-fi.
I can build HF digital and have done some bionicle ABS builds before but it isn't my forte.
I can do vehicles and vinettes (somewhat, I can out my stuff in scene but I don't build amazingly detailed and complicated stuff. I prefer to go more expansive) and I can always give action figures a go.

Yeah, apparently there are group rules about judging. I tried to make my own rules in my contests, but then the admin came in and said it had to be done in their way.

They said that judges vote on the creation they like. I though't I'd let you know before any arguments happened...

:)

Alright. Seeing as you only build virtual, and I build in real life, this puts you at a distinct advantage parts-wise. Therefore, I recommend a 50-piece only contest. Thoughts?

Alright, thank you for the disclaimer. In that case, may the best MOCist win!

As a judge, I know my opinion isn't that valid. However I think that sounds fair...

Thank you for the support. I found this to be the best to match our wits with the bricks.

Worth a shot but a thing to mention is while part count is of no bearing on me, connecting stuff is harder as you have more variety of connections. I can fake connections for appearance (but as a guy who does meddle in ABS I hate doing it) while you can't really.

Never done a build with that small part count. I'm sure I can come up with something. Did you have any specifics in mind? (remember, I do dabble IRL)

Uh, sorry to tell you another disclaimer, but apparently the rules are supposed to be in the first or second comment.

(The reason I'm telling you these things is because I got into quite a bit of trouble for not doing this.)

Well, with a small part count, I'm leaning towards vehicles. Thoughts?

Here are the rules that I think would work best: 1) no more than 50 pieces. Fewer pieces than 50 may be used. 2) The model must be a vehicle, with a minifigure pilot. 3) New builds only. 4) Entries due on July 25th. Can we agree on these terms?

I think we can. that gives 4 weeks from today.

I'm glad for the enthusiasm, but you didn't read this thread that was mentioned in the first comment in the "Find an Opponent" thread:
http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=22056&topicid=89617
It explains what to do, like going to the ask for a MOC-off thread so that a thread will be made for you. Next time, go to that thread first and then an Admin will make one for you. The thread also indicates how the judging works and tells you that you shouldn't go looking for judges until you have all of your details set.

Once you have ALL of your details set, head over to the 'Find Judges' thread: http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=22056&topicid=89692#comment-1176690

Speaking of details, one last thing.
Can the figure not count for the 50 part limit since it's mandated?
