BU & NCA war
Hi eveyrone!

As you all know there's a war going on between the BU and NCA. Nothing much has happened yet but I do have a few questions on how to make things happen.

Just to fresh up everyone's memory on the rulezz:

a. In a war, you (the player) control the action. You get to write about your forces, your tactics, and what your army did to win (or lose), but keep this realistic. For example: "I took over an entire country that was three times as big as me in 2 days!!11!1!1!" is not a very likely outcome.

b. In a war, an impartial, meaning that they have NO preference for who wins or loses, CM (combat moderator) will decide the outcome of the battle. Here is how this works:

I. First send your plans (including force numbers, tactics, movements, defenses, attacks, etc.) in to the CM (Combat Moderator), Flickrmail or Email works for this. You may also make a temporary group on mocpages for this.

II. The three CM's will analyze BOTH players battle plans, and decide who wins by comparing each side's tactics, strategies, MOCs, plans, and abilities. The CM will either be a group Mod, Admin, or trusted game veteran.

III. The CM will post a CR (Combat Report) in the group's INN(International News convo)detailing how the battle went for everybody and it will include both players battle plans.

IV. The CM's word is final, if you argue or complain actions may be taken.

V. This process repeats until the war ends.

So who want to be CM?
and does my enemy nation agree that we will do one strategy post each week?

I will if everyone else suddenly isnt available, but could you have made a convo for CR in general? Im pretty sure that with all the wars coming the group will have an aful lot of topics.

The Conglomerate will be sending an expeditionary force as well, composition hopefully to be revealed later today.

As we are allies, Costigar will reinforce the BU in the war. Costigar also offers industrial capacity to the BU.
Also, can CM's post their emails for combat reports?

The Conglomerate has decided on a taskforce that it is currently organizing to possibly send to the BU for aid, assuming the BU accepts and that we decide that there would actually be a point to doing so (our best analysts have looked at the situation and aren’t seeing much that we are getting out of this operation, so we are currently unsure if we will be going through with it).

This proposed Expeditionary Taskforce will be composed of one core Carrier Strike Group based around Carrier Strike Group 2 as well Expeditionary Strike Groups 1, 3, and 4. The fleet is optimized for an amphibious assault of enemy-held territory. The following is the entire composition of the task force:

Carrier Strike Group 2:
1 x Auctoritas class Supercarrier – (60 Phoenix Fighter UAVs, 30 Specter Multirole UAVs, 10 Wraith Fighter Bombers)
2 X Redeo class Guided missile Cruisers
6 X Capitalis class destroyers
2 X ORCA class nuclear fast attack submarines
1 X Profectus class cargo ship

3 X Expeditionary Strike Groups (1,3,4) :
1 X Dominari class Assault Carrier – (1,578 soldiers, 8 LCAC, 20 Expeditionary Fighting Vehicles, 5 Challenger Hover Tanks, 30 Marauder Dropships, 10 Specter Multirole UAVs)
2 X Subjugare class amphibious transport docks – (633 soldiers, 2 LCAC, 4 Warmaster Light Tanks)
2 X Redeo class Guided missile Cruisers
1 X Capitalis class destroyer
1 X Profectus class cargo ship

On top of this, 50 some Sparrow Unmanned Helicopters will be spread across the various ships and 20 Silentium-Class Littoral Combat Ships are being dispatched to help secure the coastline and act as pickets for the main fleet:

50 X Sparrow Unmanned Helicopters
20 X Silentium class littoral combat ships

This taskforce will be dispatched from our east coast and will head east towards the conflict zone. We will be relying on combined BU-Conglomerate intelligence coupled with observance from 2 MISTRAL-07 reconnaissance satellites for initial understanding of the enemy order of battle. The initial goal will be to break the local enemy blockade, and then operations for amphibious assaults can commence. The finer details of this strategy will left up to the BU, with the conditions that they are (A.) not a reckless use of our forces (B.) that they will support the taskforce with their own contributions, and (C.) that they will leave the NCA mainland out of this conflict as much as possible . We are also requesting (D.) Something more than 1 territory to make up for this massive show of much-needed support, otherwise we are wary of actually launching this operation due to the currently unfortunate cost/benefit ratio.

Basic Information about the provided units:

Naval –
Auctoritas class Supercarrier: A large supercarrier bringing the bulk of the air-superiority aircraft.

Capitalis class destroyer: Stealthy multi-mission destroyer, emphasis on land attack.

Dominari class Assault Carrier: Essentially a scaled-up amphibious assault ship.

ORCA class nuclear fast attack submarine: An attack submarine used for both offensive and defensive purposes.

Profectus class cargo ship: Used for resupplying the task force.

Redeo class Guided missile Cruiser: Guided Missile Cruiser used primarily for defending surface ships.

Silentium class littoral combat ship: Stealthy, used as picket ships and for littoral warfare.

Subjugare class amphibious transport dock: A smaller transport with the focus being on men, equipment, and landers.

Air-
Marauder Dropships: A aircraft similar to the Halo Pelican, heavily armed and acts as both a gunship and a transport.

Phoenix UAV: The most advanced fighter currently operated by the Conglomerate

Sparrow Unmanned Helicopter: A small UAV helicopter used primarily for navy recon.

Specter UAV: A multi-role UAV capable of acting both as a fighter and a light bomber.

Wraith Fighter-bomber: A manned multirole aircraft, not as good as a fighter as the Phoenix but still decent at its job.

Land-
Challenger Hover Tank: A heavy hovertank, capable of directly leaving its Assault Carrier and rushing to shore on its own without use of a LCAC.

Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle: An amphibious-lander IFV.

Warmaster Light Tank: A tracked tank, lacks the same level of protection as MBTs but has good speed and armament.

(edit - outside game talk: seeing as the BU already has 2 countries pledging support, it seems pretty unfair to be sending all this stuff on top of that to attack Zach... :/ )

If the Brickville Union and the Conglomerate pledge not to attack any of the Traxxus production facilities throughout, we would be willing to resupply the NCA with shipments of arms and vehicles.

The NCA gladdly accepts Traxxus' offer.

The NCA has issued teh following statement to the BU:
You are cowardly. You clearly lack the confindence to fight me one on one. You have turned this into an alliance war. I will be speaking to the ODF war council today asking for the full alliance might to be brought on the BU.

You can't really accept an offer that wasn't given to you... ;)

Anyway, due to recently acquired information from a classified third party source and discussing matters with our ally Tongaria, we feel that getting involved in this war on the side of the BU would be pointless and not in our best interest. As of now, we intend to remain neutral.

In other news, the Conglomerate has bumped up Defcon status to level 3, and will not be unassembling our currently formed expeditionary fleet despite the fact that it will not be sailing to aid the BU.

First part is strictly between me and Traxxus. I assume they have some degree of client confidentiality.

Second part: This is what I get for not asking Matthew to keep this between us. I wonder how compromised I am seeing as someone I thought was my friend may have just sold me out.

3rd part: The NCA apreciates your decision to stay neautral, though why did you say your fleet wasnt beig disassembled? Why would you break down your navy? I dont ever plan on breaking up a fleet, why would you?

P.S. Its better now that you arent sending ships. It'd be a waste of cannon shells and ships for both of us for you to try to hammer through my blockade.

Then any costigarian forces within the BU will be treated no differently than any BU forces and will bear the might of the ODF.

If you want to assume I got my information from Matthew, that's fine, but you really should read that sentence agian since I didn't say I got the info from him. Anyway, disassemble I was referring to the fleet formation, not to scrapping the ships. In other words, I'm still able to use that fleet, just for other purposes. XD

I think I sense sarcasm. XD But just in case you weren't being sarcastic, no, it's still an offensive expeditionary fleet, it just might be being planned to be used somewhere different than its original target. Of course, there is also the the second Expeditionary fleet that's roughy the same size which is being kept in reserve, and other various fleet elements that make up homeland defense.

To allow the BU time to evacuate citizens from the target area, we are informing them that the bombs will fall first on their southern holdings on the island.

We strongly advise an immediate evac of the civilian population and remind the BU that it is not too late to withdraw military forces.

Whilst I would like to support NCA, I can't condone civilian bombing.

If you need a CM I'll do that as well. If you already picked one... Well, I'm too lazy to read it all.

The EFCF will assist the ODF in many areas including blockading the BU's coast. If the ODF will accept the help of the EFCF.

Im not big on civilan fatalities. That is why I gave them the recomendation to evec. The antimatter carpet bombing will probably level any cities within the targeted territories.
