Inviting people - 5 points if they accept.

Win a contest hosted by this group - 10 points.

Merits - 10 points for each merit.

What is a merit? Read the Merits thread.

The one who earns most points each week (Sunday to Saturday) will not get awarded, but if you get more points 5 times, you will become a mod for a week. That's not the only way to become a mod! You can also win moderator elections!

I am the only one who awards points.

Sounds simple, and good. Simple Ideas are (almost) always the best. If others become Moderators, can they then award points/merits?

We'll see because then it gets confusing. Maybe it's midnight in my time and and someone got points, but then I wouldn't know that. However if we have a mod who is on the other side of the world, it will change.
