I'd be willing to help judge. I've participated in a couple MOCAthalons before, and meet the qualifications. Here is my portfolio of creations: http://www.mocpages.com/mocs.php?id=16594
It would be fun to join this year's judging squad. Thanks!
Hello! I would love playing, but my building style demands more and more time, but I believe that my objective point of view and expansive theoretical knowledge of MOCcing would qualify me at least a bit for judging in a large contest.
I have participated in the games two years ago (and spectated with attention the next year), am 18 years old and have been on the 'pages for almost three years now - here is my portfolio (and please, do not look at them in alphabetical order, hehe):
I'd like to judge. 5 years on mocpages and participated in every previous MOCathalon (haven't performed well, but I know how things go!). I've judged a few contests over on Flickr, mostly in the Lego Halo group. I'm not afraid to give out a zero for a poor effort or a 5 if something couldn't be better. I think I would be best judging anything based on a theme or replication since I'm told I have quite an eye for the small details.
Count me in. For a long time I have wanted to become more involved with the pristigious events on Mocpages. Its not every day you open it up to volunteers, and from what I've seen you could use some more dedicated AFOLs in your ranks. Recently we seem to be running in short supply while VLUG do all their planning etc.
Do you really want a link to my page? ;) Permalink
The judges have been chosen and made admins of this group. They have also been invited to the judges group so we can plot, scheme and conspire against you muhahaha!
Thank you to all that applied! It really was a tough choice and to those that I didn't choose, I STRONGLY suggest that you apply again to be MocOlympics judges in the fall. It really was a tough choice.
