Yes, the picutres are broken on Mocpages right now. Sean is aware of it and working on it. Luckily, it's hitting near the start of the games so we have plenty of time. My advice, just keep building! Don't worry about uploading until the pics are back up.
I'll keep you all posted as I learn more. Permalink
It was brought to my attention that in my haste (and lack of sleep/attention to detail)I neglected to actually add the rule about not allowing photoshop in the contest.
I realize that anyone who is a regular in these contests already knows this and it was my mistake when the rule was omitted from the final rules thread so anyone who has photoshop up to this point will not be penalized.
From this point on, there is NO photoshop allowed in your posts. You may clean up a background if you wish but nothing that alters the actual image may be done.
There are now 7 hours of time remaining for you to build entries and have them posted to this group.
I'll keep this short and sweet so you have more time for building :)
Please pay attention to the MOCpages time - as this is the clock I will be running from to close postings to the group. Please, if you have last minute builds that you wish to add to the group, make sure you start uploading them at least 15 minutes before the deadline. This should give you enough time to edit the page and sort out the photos - AND add it to group :)
You have now all been forewarned that we will not be accepting entries past 11:59pm MP time. In special circumstances Chris may extend this - but do not count on it.
On behalf of the judges, thank you all for playing and being such a fantastic group for us. We endeavour to get the scores finished and finalized in due course - it is unlikely that results will be up before next weekend so bear with us.
You can continue to chat and talk to us in the group threads, just please don't hound us about scoring :) God Bless! Permalink
I "think" all the scoring is done now (with the exception of any missed entries) so let's give Thoy (our official score keeper) another day or so to get everything counted up and we should have the final scores posted!
I think next year I'm going to have another person (admin) whose sole job it is is to keep track of the scores. This year Thoy volunteered to do it (thanks man!) but it's too much to ask to have a person who is judging also keep track of the scoring. That'll be fixed next year so we don't have a 2 week gap between the end of the games and the scores being posted.
I also want to take this opportunity to thank the judges who have worked their (bleeps) off during this contest! It's so hard to balance home life with online life and then when you add in the responsibility of judging a huge contest like this... guys, thank you!
K then, let's give Thoy another day or so to get this sorted and we'll have our scores announced and winners crowned!
