I'm proud to announce that I'm starting a bigger and stronger department! It will be for Lake Dodge the county seat of Brickford County. BTVFD will remain but because it's a pretty strong department I will be making more Lake Dodge apparatus than Brickdale Township apparatus. Lake Dodge will receive EMS coverage from BCEMS ( Brickford County EMS ) like Brickdale Township and will give M/A to Brickdale Township when needed. Lake Dodge FD has a total of 3 stations and a total of 12 rigs! Lake Dodge FD is in the works and will be ready for service soon! Check out my home page for more info! :)

That's not the way it came across. Look, your 15 years old, I would hope your grammar and spelling would be good, but many of the members on here a quite a bit younger than you. I understand this was not your intention, but still please do not bother other members about mistakes in their writing. If it bothers you, don't read it. Simple as that.

Why have 2 aerials at 1 station? Why not have 4 or 5 stations?

reason why is town size and what the town will spend to put more stations in.but there were only plans for one more.and the reason why we have two aerials is becuse when one engine goes to a call and another call comes in(fire)the other engine can go with the tower to the other fire call.thats how it works.

If you were on a tight budget why did your department buy 2 aerials, a rac unit, a mini-pumper, a quick attack, etc.

well the city&county is very concerned about repsonse times.just in case we get called away on out of town responses or if we get 2 fire calls at once.witch before that happend witch the mcfd was on backup with us another call came in and in that case the call was dealayed.we were lucky it was a small one.so to aleviate the problem we sent a reserve engine to the scene until we became avalible.and that concerned the town and us and residents.

well now that engine 5 is now running the town's mayor will crisen it! it should be done on monday. in other news the mnpd recived 4 new police units! 2 of them are ford mustang's and the other is a chevy caprice and a ford taurus.http://www.blogcdn.com/www.autoblog.com/media/2012/09/013-ford-police-interceptors.jpg http://www.chevroletcruze.net/images/other-news/chevy-caprice-police-interceptor/caprice4.jpg so their duties are speed enforcement and accident response.and they can take regular calls to keep them busy.and the north mercer byway runs trough our area and we get some real nasty accidents there.so thats the latest from us.

What new at my department/service is that the engine 30 from stlego has arrived weeks ago and training started, also forestry 20 has been in training mode also. No decisions on where they'll be stationed.

New vehicles designed, being built and will be in service before the end of the year, 2 new rescue pumps being built one for USAR and a standard one.

The Deerwater County Fire Department is currently in the development of Engines 2 and 4, identical 2012 Freightliner/Rosenbauer pumpers, loosely based off of Minneapolis' new engines. http://www.freightlinertrucks.com/Content/media/multimedia/newsletter/2011-10-october/article1-image1_torn.jpg I should have them done in LDD within a day or two (I've been having some problems with SNOT) but then I'll upload them.
