I might do a review of 8069 or 42004. Which would you prefer to see?

8448. I've seen plenty of reviews of 8070, but 8448 reviews are much less common.

Yes, I know. When I was deciding what I was going to buy I was surprised by how little reviews there were! I found the eurobircks review to be good.

A quick review of each of my technic sets:

9390: This is a very nice set that looks good, has excellent functions (especially the steering is very creative) and has a nice B-model too. Rating: 4.5/5

8453: This set is mostly nice, with functions that work well, nice shaping, and an excellent back design. The functions are complex enough for the size of the set and it has an interesting use of a crown gear. But from the side view the set looks too rough, and the bucket can lift too high (to a point where the dumping lever is blocked). Rating: 3.75/5

42004: For it's size, this is an excellent set with a lot of functions, all of which work well. In particular the rear elbow joint is excellent since it moves two joints with the turn of one gear. It also has a very nice alternate model (I was surprised, it's better than it looks). Parts are all great with two scoops, several gears, plenty of yellow beams and connectors, nice wheels, and the rare mini turntable. However, the front lowering is a bit jerky, and the Looks are a bit rough. Rating: 4.25/5

8081: This set looks good, and has nice pieces, especially the panels. All the functions work well. But there are so few functions for the size; there's a lot of empty space. The light grey joints at the top of the windshield seem out of place, and the alternate model is far too similar to the main one. Still, it can get a 3.5/5.

8069: This is a fabulous set. Everything about it is just about perfect. It looks excellent, especially the front. It has excellent parts (mini LA's, lots of gears, two scoops, etc). And of course an excellent range of functionality. The only flaw is the pivoting of the rear arm; there's a lot of backlash due to the way that the worm gear is placed. Rating: 4.6/5

8110: What to say, what to say...It is difficult to find words to describe what it likely the best technic set of all times... Basically, this set is just about flawless. The looks are unbelievable; very smooth and detailed with plenty of system pieces, as well as some axles used aesthetically! Functions are excellent: there are plenty of them (AWD with I-4 engine, front steering, tipping cab, all wheel live axle suspension, front and rear PTO's and PPTO's, front winch, rear stabilizers, pivoting arm, two joints on arm, hand; cab, winch, container and arm are all removable...). And all work very well and are interesting and complex. Structure is excellent; extremely sturdy due to lots of connectors and some diagonal beams. Only flaw I can point out in the set is the steering, which is very heavy, but that's excusable given the weight, and it works fine while driving. Rating: 5/5.
