I would like an opinion here, my birthday was recently so I got money, now you might be asking, "how does this have to do with Legos?" I don't know what to spend it on! I am considering an iPad mini, or a some Lego set. What would you do?

Well every one, I am going to buy Legos! I don't know what set, but I think maybe the Unimog or 8880, which one would you buy?

I would buy the unimog because it has so many pieces, but the car also would be cool, there is a new set coming out ( 42009 ), it will have even more pieces than the unimog, mayby going to buy it myself. Here is a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yCsi2WBnaI

Definatly the Unimog, it's bigger, has more functions, pneumatics, and looks way better.

Okay, cool! I think I am going to pick that! I probably don't have too long before they retire it so I better buy soon!

Even though that is a really impressive set, I think I would still want the unimog more.

42009 is big, but IMO it isn't that great, aside from the outriggers, it doesn't do anything that previous crane sets didn't.

Yes it is true, but there are different types of pieces in the two Set.
The choice depends on what you might need for your next MOC.
I am sure that, when the set of 42009 will be released, I will buy it, but for me the choice is simple, I already purchase 2 sets of Unimog...and, to simplify the doubt...why not consider the 9398 Set?

The main thing for me about the 9398 is that it is R/C, If a car is going to be R/C I want it to be fast. That's why I like the Unimog better, because it is no R/C.

That's nice, sorting the 8070 was a pain and that was only 1281 pieces I can only imagine what 2048 is like =O
How long did it take you to build it?

Yes, I find displaying technic sets is stupid, thats why they have all the functions, to play with them! I don't like to take apart big technic sets e.g. 8070, 8448, 8110, but I do take apart small ones.

Don't use bad words like "stpd". I think you understand what I mean, because that type of words aren't allowed by MOCpages.

Did the instructions require you to cut the pneumatic tube?

Nope. All sets since the tractor with log loader come pre-cut.

You have a lot of work to do with that blog. Anyway, good luck!

PS: Do you have to pay for your blog?

Do you can edit it a lot? At wordpress.com, it says that you can't edit it very well and the only pros is the fact of being for free.

Yes, you can actually edit it alot, but with the payed version you can do more. You can bassicaly just say it is less powerful then the pay version. But there are a few down sides.
