How about the Brass Cajones Award.

Given to all the generals in any given alliance foolish enough to take on 2nd Turn Alliance.

Yup, I went there. In fact, I'm still there at the Café Du Monde with Price and my other allies. We're enjoying coffee with chickory, hot beignets, and farting in your general direction. If you can't make it over here, you can reach me at... PFFFFFPFFFFPFFT!

Oooh, nice one General Shifu. Moto Moto granola?

Oh now that's a GREAT idea. Let's reward a player for not playing. I'll agree to this if we change the name from "Peaceful Cow" to "Ground Chuck". We could also have tertiary prizes in this category: Prime, Choice, and Select.

Did you really just enter a game to not put up a fight? Hey, Deus. I think I found another ally for you.

On that note, allow me to make another suggestion for an award. The Joshua Award. (Not you Josh O.) This will be awarded to the general whose "only winning move is not to play!"

Oh, yeah. Made a "Wargames" reference. My day is complete. (I'm old.)

Quoting Gwain .

Please read the rules again. Just in case if you're illiterate, one of them is to show respect to other players. I'm not sure if the admins will like your attitude.

Mr. Gwain.

Easy now. General Rowntree is engaged in the ancient and time honored art of SMACK TALK.

It is a type of rhetoric that is designed to evoke a powerful emotional response, and yet at the same time, stay within ambiguous but meaningful boundaries of "good fun".

It's like, a jibe, a joke, ribbing. He is basically thumping his chest.

SMACK is a delicate concept, and it is easy to do SMACK incorrectly. But like fine wine and classical music, SMACK is a highly refined taste.

Those who can engage in SMACK (without becoming genuinely hostile or vulgar) are part of a rhetorical elite.

But be warned, SMACK is the last stop before "Disrespect." And they are really close together on the map!

The thing about SMACK is this: SMACK is what you would say to a guy sitting next to you at a Monopoly game. It's both fun, and funny. If you wouldn't say it to a buddy, then it's not SMACK.

I suggest you practice your SMACK on General Rowntree. By this time I'm sure he knows your new to the world of SMACK, and he will no doubt make an excellent teacher/coach/sparring partner.

General Rowntree. I charge you: Teach Mr. Gwain well in the art of SMACK. It is a dying art that you can help to live anew. The quality of tomorrows Smack Talk depends on it!

A-SMACK!

Here's a few ideas:

The General Electric Award for source of the best gossip...

The Shifu prize for best positive moc quality / smack talk ratio...

The rowntree Award for the inverse of the above...

A special prize for the player who unwittingly causes others the most frustration. That one's called 'The Bobby'...

Another special award for the player who wittingly causes others the most frustration, 'The Deus'...

I've got a ton of these.

How about one called "Biggist Time Waster."

We can give it to a general who runs up and down the threads, demanding that the group change it's rules to suit his whims, and then skips three attack windows after getting his way?

Sound good?

Quittin'

General Hayden.

But not really "quittin" because yesterday you said:

"I'm not giving it away, I'm saying someone else can have the chance to conquer it."

Quitters leave. Sorry… I mean they "scarper", to use your own word (it means "To leave quickly". )

But you aren't actually going any place. You just sit and pout and utter unhappy incomplete sentences using words like "scarpering" and "quittin."

You don't seem to be able to commit to giving up. This is not a bad thing (who knows…not giving up could even lead to success of some kind!)

DAS is confused because your words (once deciphered) don’t match your actions (you lack of action actually).

Try these options: A good word to describe what you’re doing if you are not active but not leaving is "Losing."

OR...

If you stay in the group and are active (attacking, or reviewing other peoples MOCs for example) you could try the word: "Winning."

Let’s review:
Scapering (to leave quickly).
Quittin (Nothing. It's not even a word).
Quitting (Scapering from the game/group).
Losing (taking no action, and not scapering).
Winning (building, posting, communicating and taking action).

I recommend "Winning" but if that’s not your cup of tea, then I recommend quitting (as defined here in this discussion).

Fence sitting is confusing and unseemly.

Assess your situation.
Decide on a course of action.
Then act.

Regardless of your decision (which I’m sure will be the best one possible) nobody is going to give you the boot (which means to remove you from the group) because you are not being disruptive. As long as you don’t quit, and as long as your MOCs are hung on the ORBAT, then… your mighty nation will stand until toppled by an aggressive neighbor.

Good luck to you if you decide to stay… but give us a break with the confusing rhetoric.
