Yeah, she origanally wanted to drive them, but she isn't really a good driver, and the Vette is a hard car to control. so they ended up being 'garage ornaments' yep, both at the same time :)

Those cars were made for driving, not as a showpiece, so I think it's a good thing she sold them. I always find it such a waste when people don't drive their exclusive cars.

OT: Today I received the last of 5 BL-orders from which I've just finished the rear of my 1/17,5 Volvo truck. However, it is still far from finished: I still have to do some major adjustments to the cabin and then I'll be building 2 trailers. I already have a part of the chassis of the first trailer and then I will have to order parts for the bodyworks of the trailers. And after that I need to make the stickers. The truck is now 55 cm. long, but the final combo should be around 135 cm. It's gonna be quite some time before it's finished and fotographed, but I'll post a preview on Flickr when I've made some changes to the cabin.

At the moment I am working on my trickiest build yet - a Ferrari F50. There aren't many Lego F50's around, and I now I know why, its seriously difficult to recreate in Lego! So far I have just about sorted the rear and the roof line, but the front is almost impossible. Also, to complete it, I've had to make my very first BrickLink orders, which is very exciting ;)

I'm building a monster truck based off the ones from Monster Jam (www.monsterjam.com). The thing holding me back is I want powerpuller wheels for it, and they are expensive! I will have them soon though, oh yes! Truck is going to have a technic base with full suspension and possibly all-wheel steering. I probably wont put power functions in at this point. The top will be a brick-built "car" with roll cage and engine details. Just waiting on parts orders for now.

Probably red with white stripes, right now it's multi colored, and i plan to order matching colors. I would like blue, but since i only have a few blue parts, it would take more money (and therefore take longer to be finished) to get the parts in blue.

I honestly have no idea... I want to keep the F50, so if I want to build another large scale it will mean buying lots of new pieces, and I don't have the money to do that at the moment. I don't have any ideas on what to build in large scale next either!

Quoting Starscream Soundwave
I honestly have no idea... I want to keep the F50, so if I want to build another large scale it will mean buying lots of new pieces, and I don't have the money to do that at the moment. I don't have any ideas on what to build in large scale next either!

okey-dokey. i suppose the lfa (if your doing it) will be a 4-wide or 5-wide.

I hate to disappoint but I don't think I'll be able to build an LFA for your contest. If you like I can help judge?
