Yes, but there's hardly anything I can do about that.

You can slap him in the head repeatedly until he isn't disappointed anymore.

I don't think that would work this time, I've been slapped around too many times in the past.

Yes! I love this topic! I'm going to be very harsh on everyone this year so that people whine a lot! It's fairly amusing!

I have no right to be distraught/upset with Hielo. Sure I could've found the correctly colored arms and added greebles, but I didn't worry about it and never will.

It was a tough call for many, that's why we had to stick with the numbers. Don't give up and continue to improve and excel your designs. Keep a watch on this contest though, as some interesting things are about to pop up.

Okay, I have a problem: My overall score was 26, and my average was 6.5, which rounds up to seven, gibing me a score of 7, 26, Which is higher than that of Smooth Jazz (7, 17). Why am I not in Round 2? Oh, and please don't send another Somnifferian Ancient to deal with me. They leave a terrible mess on the carpet.

I think you're misunderstanding the scoring. Smooth Jazz's score was 7.17, or seven and seventeen hundredths. (Decimals are written with commas instead of periods or full stops in some countries.) They didn't round the scores. Your score is 6.5, which sadly puts you below the line.

Indeed I checked, you have been visited by 6 judges, for a total score of 40, at an average 6.67. Sadly not enough to get to r 2.
-Whew!- for a moment there I thought we made a mess!

Alright, it's up now. Yuri said basically the same thing but more concise and with slightly less explanation.

Hold on, I may be slightly confused. In my country, we use a full stop (period in America) to define decimal places, as you did in the comment above. What I understand of the list of contestants who got into round 2 is that it is a listing of average score next to total score (which would make more sense as it was stated that highest scores, not highest averages, got through to round 2). If this is the case, then I should be in round two, with an average of 6.666(recurring), which rounds to 7, and a total of 40 (I actually forgot to add part of my score in the earlier comment). However, if the list is one of average scores, then I fully understand that I would not qualify for Round 2. I'm sorry if I've been annoying here.

Right, okay. I won't even begin to ask why averages are used rather than totals, but thanks for at least clearing that up.

Averages are better because you could still have accurate results even if, say, six judges scored some entries and seven judges scored others. (At least I think that's how it works.) That doesn't apply here, though, since the same number of judges scored every MOC, so averages would've gotten the same results as totals.

Actually, when I was typing that, I meant to put, "Glorified Procrastinator," which ties in to how I do homework and my building style, except last round, but this describes me better on a whole.
