Battle of the Judges results!
 Group admin
Without much ado, I'm happy to announce that the winner of the Battle of the Judges is: Myself!

Thanks everyone! This was really fun and I'm glad I won!

I considered the scores of only the contestants who rated ALL of the entries, that is: A Sargent, Smooth Jazz, Mohame Marei, Sage Clouston, Lego METAL, Glorified Pessimist, Max W., Kraata Face, L.A. Miranda and Oak Storm.

I would really like to thank all of you for taking your time to do this with seriousness and commitment as you did!

The score list is:

1- Berial - 8,90
2- Monarth - 8,40
3- Yuri - 8,10
4- Chris - 7,50
5- Johann - 6,50

What a surprise, I actually thought Yuri would be the second.

Well, Berial, congratulations! ^^

NOW BUILD A MECH. TEN DAYS. ENJOY.

Well, second place isn't half bad :) On a side note, it was hard to tell how Yuri would place, since his entry seemed the most controversial. Interesting case to say the least.

Yes, it suffered from some petty acts of revenge, but it could not have beaten Berial's entry anyway :)

Congrats to Berial, a well deserved victory. You all did great, better than I did this year. XP Although that was only my 3rd Bionicle I'd ever posted.

Controversial? Yuri? I think Gemini was the... Oh, you were refering to the waist issue? Je je je, he developed a really nice, custom waist design. People wanted revenge and he defended himself very well. I liked that xD

I was referring to the fact that his scores were quite discontinuous, going from 6 to 10. Some of the other entries did have some leaps in the given scores, but were mostly around the same number.

That said, I could possibly theorize that Yuri has discovered some unique area of bio-mocing, where the innovation is considered both good and poor, making it controversial.

Of course I'm exaggerating, but I like to theorize when an opportunity occurs.

Not really, if you go check you can see that those who gave me a 6 got a 6 from me in R1 :) Aside from those, scores were quite consistent.

Hehe. No, I deliberately staved off my desire to take revenge like that, it's unbecoming.

Who knows? Perhaps Yuri's style is in an uncanny valley of bio-mocing, on the border of good and poor, innovation and simplicity Bl

Yaay, last place! Never liked being in the middle of things, rather go with the extremes. Oh well, anyway, congratulations, Berial! I thought Yuri was gonna win, but that works too.

Nope.

Due to time constraints in the lives of each judge, we planned only this one round. This round was for us to have our share of the contest with the little time most of us had to spare.

Many of us would've liked to participate in the cup, but, as said, couldn't due to limited time.
