Hello, I have joined!

On the subject of it being purchased. I support it, if they do some updating. The site is very fast, great servers, but it looks REALLY ancient. A facelift and easier way to find parts would be very welcome.

Seconded!

Thirded! When I first started using Bricklink, I found it really difficult to use, it took me ages to get used to it.

Yeah. I would like a system where, you chose the parts you want, make yourself a "shopping cart" and then, BL finds stores that sell the part(s) you want in the quantity you want them in. I find it so hard to look at fifty different stores, and then compromise because none of them had everything I need, in the quantity I need it in.

Yeah, I agree. That would be awesome!

I actually like the layout, I think it's very easy to use. Though faster would be nice. I would like there to be a way to put a MOC built in LDD or LDraw programs, then you can select multiple stores, and it automatically adds any parts needed for the MOC that the stores have in there inventory. it takes me hours to do it brick by brick.

I agree with your second part. Though, honestly, the old green.blue background, its been around since the site started; its very, unattractive.

Well the decorations could be changed, i don't think it's pretty, but the actual layout, I've gotten really used to it, and don't want to have to figure it out again.

Ah well. Maybe. I mean, its easy to see the parts in a set, and then decide if its worth buying, I guess. But my problem is that I can never find a store that has everything I need (yes, LEGO is a need!!), all the parts, in the right quantity, so.

I think a black brick pattern would be very nice. I also think you should be able to specify payment options in advanced search. Right now I can only buy with straight cash, (haven't got a credit card yet) so I have to find stores that accept it.

Cash?! That seems, incredibly complex. I just let my parents use their credit card, and pay them back, should it be an order that isn't on my birthday.

I don't know, I really like it how it is. Simple and professional. It took me a couple hours to fully master the site, and it takes mere seconds to find anything I need. Still, I suppose a few of the more obscure features like adding/altering already placed orders could be streamlined.

Maybe, but right now, I am searching for a piece, and I have no idea where else to look for it; I have searched in each of its possible categories.

Can you describe it? I shall use my magic if you define my parameters. ;)

Thank you. I am looking for a brick that has a sphere on the top of it. It has a round base, and a ball on the top of it. Could be used as a radar dome..... (2x2, I believe)

Righto. Anyways, back on the topic of BL being bought. Hmm. I hope they don't end up making sellers hype prices. That is my only concern.

Agreed. Color changes, icon design changes and such, but I don't want things to move around.

Maybe not so much as move things around, but more, add features. Finding a seller that has ALL your parts, regardless of what method you use, takes a long time, to say the least. I mean, at least in PAB, you get one seller, LEGO, that keeps its prices, uhm, stable.

I don't use PAB anymore, the prices are often too high, and they take 3-4 months to ship it hear :/

I dunno who told you that, but PAB doesn't have that slow shipping. It takes about a week and half or so, maybe two weeks in the holiday season. The prices have been getting higher, but you can buy as much as you want, and there is no minimum buy, or anything like that.
