So far, there is a total of 118 people invited. And my hand is tired of typing, so I'm gonna take a break from inviting.

It is whatever your interpretation of the category is that fits into literature!

I don't read much, so I worry that some themes will not be viable for me. Is there a reading /special/ olympics for the literature handicapped?

xD :) Don't worry there is not specific books you must read to compete! Any book you have read can be used if you are imaginitive enough to fit it to the categories!

It's fine if you want to stay, I would've done the same if I couldn't enter or judge. Yeah, I can't wait for the entries either. :)

Thanks for the invite, but I'm afraid I will not be able to participate. My collection is a mess and I am just getting settled in South Carolina. This sounds like a fun and interesting game. I look forward to watching it unfold.

Do you want me as a judge or a participant and if it is participant, what will it make me do because I'm not much of a reader. If you want me to judge, I'd rather not, sorry.

He wants you as a participant. We have all the judges. While participating, you'll have to build something relating to your category given. Don't worry, you're required to give an online summary, so get one from Wikipedia or something, and use that to tell if you about the category. If you haven't read the book.

How strict are the rules? For instance if one was broken what would happen?

So are there different consequences depending on which rule is broken? For instance if an entry isn't right for the category the judges would react differently than they would for a late entry? What if the entry only fits the category to a certain degree? I'm wondering because I'm not sure if A Wrinkle in Time would be considered an American classic.

Yes. It might be half, or might be not... five is such a very nasty number to divide. You have a chance.

Also, where are those Dillmans? I have to throw them in as well, for not backing up their talk with MOCs...

Maybe... we'll have to just wait. :)

If we have to wait for more people can we remake our entries? I'm home now and with my bricks and given the fact that two late entries were allowed I feel if we have to wait that it's fair to expand the time frame to allow better entries to be built.
