The scores are in, and the winner has been discovered!
Ian and myself have scored every entry out of 40 total points (individually, we each scored out of 20, taking initial vision, build execution, and final presentation into account).

This has been a fun contest to see progress! And now, to announce the winners of Photo this Caption 2013.....

In 1st place, with a score of 37 points, Matt RowntRee holds the first place, with his winning entry found here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/368152

If you accept Matt, you shall receive your trophy in the mail via a private winner's group.

With a score of 35, our second place winner is Paul Vermeesch with this entry: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/366814

And these three builders have tied for third with the score of 34:
Clayton Marchetti (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/368323)
Mr. Ben Merrill (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/368603)
Nathan Oh (http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/369142)

Thanks to everyone for participating this year! We look forward to the possibility of hosting a similar contest next year, and hope that we will see more caption king entries in the mean time!

In His grip,
-Max

First off, thank you Stephen. ;)

And thank you to EVERYONE. After seeing a couple entries after the first few days, including Paul's, I realized that this was going to be tough. The best part was seeing how everyone thought through the captions. I'm proud of the diversity and quality shown here. ALL the entries were wonderful.

Hat's off to Max and Ian for a classically fun contest. I'm honored and humbled. I would also love to have a Max Pointner original Art piece to gaze at, regardless of it's stature as the prize.

Thank you guys, and thank you to ALL the participants. Hope to see you back for the next installment of P.T.C.

Thank you David. I agree about the others including yours. And, in fact, everyone's. Testament to a truly great contest.

We're not going to release any of the other scores. If we tell one person his/her score, then we're obligated to tell anyone who asks. We're busy guys and we just don't have time for all that. Sorry chaps! Look on the bright side, if you scored really low, you'll never know (nor will anyone else)! It's good for morale folks, it's good for morale...
