I AM A JEW!! Jews are O.K.... If you are in a Jewish school, you get a ton of vacation... The question is, why do everybody hate Jews.. Palestine, medieval crusades, Americans once did, World War II... etc.

We Americans like to keep it a secret fact that it was common beleive in the 30's that after Germans and Japanese, the greatest threat to America was the Jews. First reports of the holocaust were pretty much ignored. But when it became public knowledge of what exactly the Nazi's were up too... Lol. From hate to shock at what had been done to these people.

-This has been another obscure history report from Awesome-o-saurus.

As for Jews in general, I know 2 at school. They're pretty cool. Our math class always celebrated the Jewish holidays (which most of them celebrating about the Jews once again avoiding extermination at the hands of outside forces) with candy. There are a lot of holidays in a religion that old.

Kristalnacht- in German for Crystal Night, is when the Germans invaded an innocent Jewish town in Germany and smashed up everything there. There was lots of glass on the ground from smashed up windows of Jewish shops. That is why it is called Kristalnacht.

why do people think Jews killed Jesus Christ?

It was the Jewish pharisees who originally plotted Jesus' arrest and trial. Though the Romans were the ones who flogged Him and crucified Him, it was the Jewish people who voted to have him crucified and the Jewish pharisees to kind of start it all. Of course, the Romans were in on it too. But there were ONLY A FEW Jews who rejected Jesus. For the most part, they accepted Him as the true Son of God.

The question is why the heck didn't ANYBODY bomb the rail roads that led to the concentration camps?

Maybe because they didn't know about the consentration camps. Or maybe they did and thought they were POW camps. They pretty much would have looked the same from the air (recon photos). We know that there were forced labor camps that were bombed, some of them were concentration camps. But it is much easier to pick out factories and railyards from the air than to tell the diffence between a POW and an extermination camp. Remember, photography was still in its infancy (relatively speaking) at the time, no High-def/high-contrast photos like we have now. And when you have flak biting at your tail, you probably don't feel like going back for a second glance...

All that to say that I'm sure they would have if they had known, and they did sometimes.

Jews are really cool! Yes, it was the Romans that killed Jesus under pressure from the Jews, but if I had been the only man on earth, I would have personally driven the nails into his hands myself; it was set in motion from eternity past that He would die. I would have done it in order for it to come to pass. Not knowing or believing what I do now, of course, but it was my sins and everyone else's that nailed him there as surly as though we held the hammer.

I like Israel (best military ever! Oh, and the Merkava, now that's what I call a hunk of tank!) and have even learned Krav Maga, Israel's army's hand-to-hand combat technique; it's brutal!

The USSR had other things to worry about, like getting all the germans away from Moscow to save Stalin, and the millions of people dead because of the Nazis on their own turf. They made a beeline for Berlin as soon as they got the chance, and had to take back what was theirs. The USSR saved more by ending Nazi Germany than they could ever of done by liberating concentration camps.

Let's just say Russia had it coming to them, they weren't forced to sign that Russo-German nonaggression pact... And Stalin did take his time when it came to top advisors warning him... And then he (like a true dictator) blamed it on everyone else and went on an Inquisition-like purge of the military, thus slaughtering hundreds of the men that could have made a difference...So, yeah.

And that is the US's fault because...? I'll tell you why it's not, it's the same reason that Russia later supplied Egypt, Jordan, and Syria with Migs to use against Israel. They couldn't have cared less about the Jews, they wanted them dead as badly as the Nazis did.

It was Stalin, after all, who masterminded the famine that killed several million of his own people in order to discourage a revolt. From my viewpoint, it was the perfect struggle, one murderous dictator and his people against another, with the free world shuddering to see who would be the victorious oppressor. In Churchil's own words: "If Hitler had invaded Hades I should at least have a kind word for the Devil." Showing his true distaste for Stalin.

Actually, I believe it was put there by early believers, but after the disciples had all died. It was originally a pagan holiday, or merely a winter feast, but the birth of christ was put there when religion came to that part of the world I think... probably Britain...

I was just woundering, do u hate it when people think Jews killed Jesus Christ?!

well, the Jews in general aren't to blame. it's the Jewish authorities that were the problem. really, you can't blame the Romans either. what people often don't think about is that Jesus allowed himself to die. yes, it was humanity's fauilt, but He chose to die because He loved us and not because he was forced to.
