The * means below it says "some manuscripts exclude "nor the Son"" This verse is speaking of the end of the earth, meaning no one knows or can know but God. Now my question is: If Jesus is God, how can Jesus not know?

well Jesus is not GOD. GOD is his father, but the share the same power, but he does not know ll his father knows. But that question will never be answered, because humanity is not supposed to know everything.

jesus is god. he is also not god. he is part of the holy trinity. so there for both are true. however they are indeed counted as the same person. so... what bible do you have?

he is 100% man and 100% god, which is also true

mabee they are refering to earthly sons such as us(well... only if you are a boy). i really am kind of confused. this all depends on the denomination.

Lol, I'm in that group. I saw that debate not that long ago....

I'm not debating this, but I will try to give an explanation.

The trinity is a principle that boggles the human mind. The concept of three in one, with all being God at the same time, yet each are unique is something that will have to wait till we get to heaven to fully understand.

That in mind, think of an actor who plays three roles in a movie. The actor is God, and each of his roles is an individual part of the trinity. Each role is still the same actor, yet they are still different characters.

So the Father and the son are different, yet both are God. Hopefully that clears up how Jesus can say only the Father knows.

Of course it is much easier to wait till that day comes, and we are able to understand everything. :-)
