How to share the Gospel on MOCpages?

What do you say to the people here to get them interested? Do you right out tell them? Hint at it? What do you say to people who don't want to listen?

Well for the people who don't listen to you, don't worry about it. You planted a seed by even bringing it up. I say not to worry about the people who don't listen becuase there are plenty of other people you can talk to about the Lord. You don't have to presure them about becoming a Christian. It isn't our job to make sure they become a Christian.....that's the Lord's job. Our job is to bring the message to the people of the world.

I think I've heard something about simply "planting a seed" before...

Thanks for the input. :)

Your welcome. There's a really good book on evangelism and sharing the gospel that can really help you out with this.

It's called "One Thing You Can't Do in Heaven" by Mark Cahill. I'm reading it right now, it has a lot of usefull info about it.

I think I've heard that name before too. I just took a look at it and it seems interesting. I just checked your page, and found out we're about the same age (not intended to rhyme, I can't think of anything better to say)! ;)

i dont mean to be mean but how is god going to get all men to worship him if we give up on one specific person? My mom as always told me this "try to talk with them about God and do that for a while then pray just pray because its in God's hands" i mean why give up on that specific person? isn't it our duty as a christian to guide people to the lord and not give up on them about it?

We should't give up, but after we talk to them about it and plant the seed in there heart, and they still don't listen. The best thing to do is just to pray to God to soften there heart.

Just a quick reply to Rusty S.

It is not clearly stated how he made the animals in the Bible. That's why there is a debate. Since it's going nowhere, please don't make topics like this.

True, it is not 100% clear. BUT, it speceficly says that he created them sepreatly, it says nothing about being made through evolution. And it says that man was made in the image of God, unlike the animals. So we couldn't have been made through evolution.

I actually agree that God simply spoke them into existence and he molded us from the dust of the Earth. But there's just enough inclarity to allow people to believe otherwise. And those who do, will not be dissuaded. So, I didn't want to spark another 240 comment babble fest.
