Quoting 7 Bricks To Heaven...
I do not believe woman are unequal to men. I think that men and woman are created equally.

I agree. All people are created equally, and should have the same rights as everybody else.

It may have been the time... back then, women were inferior. In our society today, girls are the equivilant of boys.

not neccessairily...
back in the day, paganism was matriachal(feminist) so the church made sure patriach society ensued after conversion.

and women have only got most of their rights in the 20th century

there are still no FRONTLINE women soldiers, etc.

In the book of Genisis (in the bible) it said that God created a Woman (eve) out of Adam's Rib. When I think about if men and woman are equal I think about that (however i don't know if this relates to the topic)

Nowadays, that is generally considered as all of humankind. Furthermore, the US declaration of independence only applies to the US.

Remember, in the beginning God made a PARTNER for man, not an assisstant, friend, etc; So in other words, they balance each other, and a world with only men or only woman would die out in less than a century.

Men And Women Are Equal But Frountline Soilders Don't Need The Distraction

You're right about that! Seriously though, women are not inferior to men, but their bodies are built differently, and not as well equipped for intense physical strain. Don't see any women in the NFL. Guess why? At the same time, I think women are quite as capable as men, but not comparable. It's like comparing apples and oranges. And, we wouldn't be very good at having kids...

If you want to get really into detail the Declaration of Independence is only talking about white landowning males.

THANK YOU! Today, we pretty much interpret "men" as all humans who should be equal, regardless of race, religion, gender or creed. Not to say that I disagree with that, but the standards today were not the same 200 years ago. As you said, the Declaration of Independence, which only concerns the US, cannot really be used to back up an argument as to why sexism is right or wrong.

Sexist is when someone judges you on your gender... FYI. Like racist is when you judge someone on their race... that's bad too. And yes. Let's hope our kids aren't any of those things.

That's the reason men only have 11 ribs.

Men and women are equal, but the man is still the head. Women have different roles than men. Feminism is when women take the roles of men.

It says that the father has authority over the women and family. But he has too love, care, protect, and sustain the family. Also, Why do so much Asians( not them specifacally, but...) Eat female fish? You need to sustain the population. Well, I don'y believe in sexism. Very bad.
