Round 5: Then There Were Four...
 Group admin
Here we go, the penultimate pair of perilous pair-ups! Good luck to everybody - I want to have some eye candy to judge.

Quoting David FNJ
Last round's tough battle just got tougher.

Welcome to the second round of The Tilt - The Tourney Round 5.

This round goes back to the 1-on-1 direct pair-offs. Looks like we have a Crimson Knight verses another Crimson Knight, and an Average Gnome verses another Average Gnome. You know what that means - Round 6 will be Gnome vs. Knight!

The winners of this round are the ones eligible for the prizes!

Each judge will be commenting on your creations and casting his vote for one of the MOCs. You need at least 4 out of 7 votes to move on to the next and final round.

Important points

• Everything in the Rules thread http://www.mocpages.com/group_conversation.php?id=23354&topicid=92680 is still applicable to this round unless specifically stated otherwise in the points below. Only build ONE scene.

• The last day to add your creation to the group pool is Sunday night March 9th, at 11:59 MOCpages time (Eastern Standard Time). No entries will be accepted once the group is locked.

• Your title must be: The Tourney Round 5:(Whatever you want if you want). May be shortened to TTR5, or TT Round 5
You know the drill.

• No links are required this round! Though we'd appreciate a link to this group.

• At or near the TOP of the description of your MOC, you MUST state your:
- category AND
- your guild. Feel free to just copy and paste the description of the category (or just the name of the category) into your MOC.

• Your creation must be added to this group if it is going to be counted for judging BEFORE the deadline (or if you get your creation in before the group gets locked assuming there is a grace period). Once you add your creation to the group, you may NOT change anything except for the following:
- Stating your category
- Stating your guild
- Fixing your title
NOTHING else may be changed. If we find that something was changed (adding a story, adding pictures, etc.) a penalty WILL be put in place.
ASK YOUR FELLOW GUILD MEMBERS if everything is set and that the build can be added to the group. You do not want to have a category, title, or guild name missing this round as it may SERIOUSLY cost you. If you absolutely must change something, then you MUST ask an Admin for permission - DO NOT change it on your own (does not apply to the 3 specific exceptions).

The Categories and match-ups!

Jacob Pennington vs. Andrew the Jedi Ninja
- The Medieval Stronghold:
Many of the knights who competed in the Tourney live in a castle or some other type of fortress. For this round, step into the shoes of an architect and build the stronghold of one of these knights (does not have to be your character). We encourage you to be very creative with this category and don’t be afraid to use your imagination. All scales (micro-full-size) are acceptable. (a lone tower embedded in a cliff's side or a personal castle on flowing plains are both acceptable)

Halhi 141 vs. Toa Infernum
- Ye mighty Sailor!
Enalicans aren't the only ones who know how to build ships! Build one of your faction's ships and set it in a peaceful setting, or in a battle setting against a rival ship. Of course, landscaping on the sides is, of course, allowed (as are castles next to the water and such), so be creative when building your scene. Be sure to focus most of your attention on the ship itself. Think of it this way, from the thumbnail, people should be able to tell that the MOC is mainly about the ship, and not the scene accompanying it.

Looks like it will be a exciting round! I assume the final round will be Hahi (not a typo) Vs. Jacob.

That will be seen in time. I wouldn't be sure, just because all the builders in this round are so good that the outcome just isn't predictable.

In all humbleness, I would say the Gnomes have the advantage here.

He spoke about it some 15 Gnome comvos ago, but I forget. His real name is Isaac I'm pretty sure though.

Um....where did you get that from? Not even close.

Good luck Infy!

In a completely un-biased manner, I do believe the Crimson Knights will win.

Maybe, but because I am of neither guild, I am rooting for neither guild.

I believe everyone knows, deep down, (deeper for others) that Halhi is going to win.

Good thing I built two for that UC a while ago, and good luck to Halhi!

There is a 40%+ chance that he will, in my opinion. The rest is split fairly evenly between the other three contestants.

Oh, and who gets the topic reference?
Five little Indian-Boys, going in for law,
One got in chancery and then there were four...

I want to say it has something to do with the 70-80s Spider Man and his Amazing friend series, specially the episode where Chameleon is consecutively snatching away the heroes...but I could be wrong.

So you've read the book "And Then There Were None"? It's a great book.

I saw the very very very old movie, but I started the book once. Dad seems to have a lot more for me to do when I read books so I never did finish it... I guess I have something to read now!

Man, from glancing through the entries, I must say that you four have put on a great show! I just want to say awesome job to all four of you! Maybe next year we can have prizes for the top 4 players.

Anyhow, the judging will begin tomorrow. Good luck to you all!

The entries are all so amazing! Both of the matches are entries of entirely different styled pitted against each other...
