After several long months of competitive building madness, I'm proud to announce the winner of the second Middle Earth Lego Olympics! This year's Ring-bearer award goes to Li Li! Congratulations my friend. You gave a top of the line display of diversity and building skill which all payed off in the end!
Also a huge round of applause for KW Vauban! Making it to the final round is an arduous task. You gave an awe-inspiring performance this year, second only to the champion, so hold your head high!
Both of the finalists will be receiving invites to the MELO Awards group shortly to discuss their prizes.
And now to thank the judges, without whom this contest would not be possible. Blake designed this year's logo and he's also generously supplying the second place prize. Michael and Mark were instrumental in finding quotes for categories and sending out invites. Max is generously pitching in for the first place prize. And Paul was a life-saver and stepped in at the last minute when my previously selected judge unexpectedly dropped out. Thank you for all you do gentlemen!
And lastly, thank you to everyone who participated in this year's Middle Earth Lego Olympics! While the judges manage things, there's nothing to manage without contestants. When all is said and done, it's you contestants that really make this contest possible! Thank for devoting your time and energy to this contest. I'm incredibly grateful for all the enthusiasm that has surrounded these games for the past two years. I hope to see everyone back again next year! Cheers! Permalink
