1. How are the MOCs going to be judged? By a points system of some sort?
2. Somewhat newbie question: What's wrong with LDD? Not that I have any affiliation with it or anything.

1.Points
2.LDD gives you an "unfair" advantage over others by having infinite pieces.

Wait what?

I accidently wrote a more drastic way of "be quiet" which I assume placed a comment I recently wrote under this topic in moderation.

Wasn't directing it towards anyone in the group, just to let you know.

Last drop from my question bombardment: Just read the round 1 thread. There's no theme we have to follow? And just to clear my doubts: Round 1 will be the only round, right?

Theme: Must be an opposite gender. So, no, not really.

Currently, that is the plan. :)

Okay, I lied... :P One final (I hope) final question: What are the categories we are being judged in?

They will be scored on a 1-5 range.
And the criteria is as follows
Does the entry look good?
Does the entry resemble the Self-MOC?
Presentation.

It's not a "necessary" thing, but if you do it...bonus points from me to you.
;)

Haven't uploaded anything right now, so I wouldn't know.

Aside from the fact that it flips ANY vertical photo I put in to a horizontal position, no. :P

This is less of a question and more of a suggestion. Is it possible we can use an "entry thread" system? You know, like what the Bio-Cup uses to "Lock in" creations? For example, if someone posts a creation into this group, they can receive criticism and advice from other members and still be able to make edits. The creation isn't eligible for judging until the member posts a link to the creation in the "entry thread" topic in the group discussion. At that point, no edits can be made. I'm suggesting this because I-and I'm sure several others-have had one of those moments where I'm thinking, "Oh shoot, I should have made that little change before uploading my entry!" I understand if this isn't possible since we're pretty much in the endgame stage (Though only 7/39 have posted, 6/45 are judges) of the contest.
