The other thread was too long and I now regret this thread's title.

Just admit that you're a Sister Act fanatic and love Whoopi. Show us your true colors, Dennis. XDDD

I was thinking the same thing (about Flickr). Maybe some advertising over there would help? I don't have one so I'm not much use when it comes to that. Maybe we could ask Ian. He did a good job last year.

I don't really do Flickr. I HAVE an account but...

If anyone who is part of the flickr community would like to help out that would be awesome!

This is what Ian posted to get to the flickr Lego Contest Group. You might go over there and throw an official invite.

EDIT: Here's the direct link.

Oh, I've also been creating a list of people who have signed up. Not sure if anyone else is already, but I thought I'd be proactive. Is there some type of format you would like?

They want a smack thread. I almost made one, but I thought I'd check with you first. I'm gone till tomorrow, so if someone could deal with it, that would be great!

There's one every year, so I guess it's safe to go ahead and start one. I'll do it now.

Thanks, Nick! I have to run, but I just wanted to say how impressed I was with your town house again. The furniture, the detailing, the Lego den with the micros and the exterior are all incredible. To tell you the truth, I'm still re-looking at the pics. Amazing!

By the way, how did you get involved with Bright Bricks? Did they approach you or you them?

Hi Mark. They approached me and Joe (MortalSwordsman) at the STEAM show last year. Glad you like the house, it seems to be taking off!

Ugh, and so it begins.

Thank you? o_O

Yeah, I know... maybe I should point out that nobody who won ever paid any attention to it...

I'm so jealous. Bright Bricks looks like such a cool company to do work with. No b.s., just sculpture.

Then it should be said that not many that make it to round two paid attention to it. ;)

They immediately jumped in with the "yo mamma's" too. Good grief, do we really need to call this a tradition? It really hurts my brain. Hopefully Luke and Ian will jump in there soon to elevate the level somewhat.

And what's all this about you working at Bright Bricks? Saw a new post from you but haven't had a chance to check it out. You and Joe have landed the dream! Congratulations! That's beyond crazy awesome. Would they be interested in a sarcastic, irreverent metal worker that lives in Arizona? =D

Or a lanky college student from Indiana?

The smack is truly painful right now... still, a sarcastic, irreverent sheet metal worker from Arizona would fit right in at Bright Bricks. See you at work!

Very true. The place buzzes with creativity.

Oh, nice! You've landed my dream job! :) Good luck with whatever it is that you are building!

You can also add my name to the list of hopefuls. Here in Canada, we are still technically under British rule... ;)
