Those are my painted phase 1 clones. You can also see one in the main picture of this group. Now they ain't the best, but certainly good.

If you're painting, I advice you use a toothpick. Much more control in small spaces than a brush. That's really all I have to add to the custimization topic.

I don't like toothpicks, use the smallest paintbrushes you can find. Try to paint your clones a little thicker than you think you need, but I recommend not doing a 2nd coat (as it will peel off more easily).

A clear coat spray helps keep a paint job on, but also makes it more shiny, reducing that gritty look.
