Well little details are key in my opinion if you have the pieces to add little details in then do it. Also battle scenes are nce but not needed you can have a diorama with people hanging out at the beach. As long as something is going one. Also try and make big but not so big you can't keep track of whats happening.

If your making a star wars battle diorama then I always need fire. That is a very neat piece and plus it's cheap. I also like to use transparent clear pieces for more fx. I guess I am an fx kind of guy, you know what I'm saying?

For a dio. tip, try to imagine that your in the battle, and imagine what it would be like. Try to make detail, like craters from explosians, or a clone hiding behind a rock, or some clones searching for their lost limbs . You could add pieces of droids everywhere, or clones and droids flying up from an explosian. Hope that helps. Plus, a bunch of fire pieces help.
