The two carriers heading to Hawaii should arrive in Pearl Harbor by Today. In East Russia, the scouts have been deployed. The carriers sent to East Russia have arrived and deployed our AA guns all over the Alpha Base.

Even with the Korean Theatre closed, 5,000 SSW troops will stay in the area as armed militants for the sheer sake of historic repetition in the area.

Moving along, the SSW will be commissioning Prime Ministers to take control of the newly gained territories. A man from Switzerland will be taking reign in the newly dubbed Southern State of Argentina, or SSA.

With that said, border fortifications will begin once the first batch of SSW engineers touch ground in the SSA seeing as though Chile might become a problem. So, at the given time, the SSW is slowing down its pace to make way for a time of stabilization.

Rising up out of the ashes of... Some interesting phrase, comes Saudi Arabia as a new power in the 2034rd world. I, Gus Indo, declare myself the new high-monarch of Saudi Arabia and transform this country into the Royal Arabian Empire.

We shall remain neutral and independant until it is seen fit to ally ourselves with a faction.

I shall consider this option carefully. But until then, I'd like to offer an item for sale. The advantage of Saudi Arabia is that we are the #1 producers of oil. I would like to sell vast oil stores in exchange for military vehicles or just plain money. Anyone care for oil?

As a show of good will 40 MiG-68s, 60 MiG-51, and 10 AR-59's will be sent to the Royal Saudi Air Force.

As I see it based upon current statistics, the Saudi Arabian National Guard along has 125,000 troops at its disposal, with who knows how many in the actual military. Our vehicles are chiefly produced in other countries, particlularly European locations. However, we continue to produce our own APCs, AFVs, and some new aircraft.

I think it would be better if you put this in the statistics thread.

Interesting, and very tempting offer. However, I'd first like to see a summary of your territory. Possibly the RAE would like to make and alliance with your faction. We could have an oil/vehicle trade off. We are a chief energy superpower.

The Idaho Province has launched its entire fighter compmliment that were on Carrier #1 to Hawaii. The fighters should arrive in the next hour. Meanwhile, the scouts have extended the borders of Alpha Base by twenty miles. They have replaced the motion sensors and have started the patrol. The other 8 carriers are now recieving orders. 3 carriers shall stay in ER incase of emergency. The other 5 will stay between Korea and Hawaii and Russia for a peace convoy. Any other ships wishing to join the peace convoy shall add ships.

We would also like to sell you 100 BMP-5's in assorted variants, 50 Tigranes the great MBT's and 10 T-115 heavy tanks.

Hmm...An infant nation already at war. This will cause a great deal of speculation to be looked upon and Saudi Arabia may now be a threat. In any case, the SSW will prepare itself at any rate. Seeing as though this nation is already advancing on "less-than" states in terms of militants and armed units, the SSW is extending a leaning arm to the UAE seeing as though it shares many of the same interests as the SSW. This does not mean will be advancing to take the area; however, armed units will be sent to take hold.

LOL! Well, I am doing that at the same time. Just doing some aggressive negotiations on the side. I've made a deal with the Pacificans to trade tanks for oil and stuff. The real world statistics show I have 8 million barrels at my disposal each year for export. I'm gonna use it!

This is a stand alone group. There are each member of the group has there own nation but the each are a member of an alliance. The alliance are the U.E.N (europe) the CAS( a newer version of the soviet Union) the RA (north America) and the U.A.N( the Middle east). Each group has a Da Facto head usually the founder of the group. Since i am the founder of the UAN i would be the head. But since there is only two members then we could share control till more members join. The benifits would be constant trade, defensive pact and military support. As a new nation you don't have a very large army or economy and you need help. Plus together we would control 50%+ of the worlds oil.

So far, the vote has come out as a yes. We have also made major use of Pearl Harbor and we are currently refueling. In East Russia, the troops have extended the border by ANOTHER 20 miles and we are going to stay there. Beta Base has been succesfully build and it is about half the size of Alpha. Alpha has set up the defences and if it was attacked would take a week at the most o get in. Back at home, 10,000 troops have been sent to Oregon to be trained in the PCU Army. Russia and China are the closest allies on the globe. Both rank as the most powerful nations on earth, size and statistics wise. My allegiances to Russia over-rule all other alliances. Yes, you have a considerable force that will be extremely costly to root out, but the airbases, bunkers and artillery batteries can be bombed, and with the fact that often the cloud cover protects our Su-51s from cover, bombing would be potentialy devastating and unpredictable. My present plans do not involve hardcore bombing until spring, but we will if need arises.

We are fortifying the top of the Kamcatcha peninsula and the shore opposite of it with cruise missiles, bunkers, SAMs, and artillery. We do not plan to attack your force until spring, but we will assure that you do not reach any important positions in East Russia

Ukrainian and Chinese Aircraft have been stationed in Russia to boost regular patrol, and any other CAS nations are requested to aid as well.

Don't know if you guys were listening or not, but winter in Siberia occurs in August because of the large Arctic drafts and the overall dry climate.

Moving along, the SSW will not take a stance in East Russia seeing as though Ukraine may decide to sweep in with its superior AF. I'd like to keep the peace for as long as possible.

As said quite some time ago, the SSW will be slowing all military operations for some time to fortify all the given areas and to allow the economy to bounce back. However, new military developments will continue to exist.

Well, you've got the whole CAS thing.

We've got the Alaskan oil (we are RA, you know), our east russian oil, Boeing and it's passenger jets that are so popular, and the F-22s the RA uses, we have the Oregon timber industry, which is one of the best last time I checked, lots of farms and fishing, shipyards and factories, plus our allies that will be willing to help us out financially and militarily (Texas, you still in for this war?)... I know there's more.

You probably have more though, seeing as you're practically all of Asia, and we're just one part of North America.

We don't even have a million men in our entire army, so most of the casualties will probably be yours, even if you win. And as previously stated, the cloud cover will be hard to see through if we shoot down your sattelites.

Accrding to my pre-deployment check up on the Bolter. It could penetrate at most: 6 feet into concrete in a hole with a 3-feet radius. So yes, a Bolter can do its job VERY well. Anyways, in the Johnston Atoll, the invasion has gone according to plan. The Marines landed about an hour ago and met no resistane except for a curiios islanders who were quickly repeled by warning shots. We have secured the island and are going to have a 24-hour courtesy call on the annexing....

As said before, the SSW will not be trailing into the East Russian conflict. To be honest, my nation has honed the skill of greed. Meaning, there has to be incentive for us to fight. However, the SSW still operates the manufacturing facility in British Columbia; therefore, production of SSW weaponry en masse may be of some service I do believe in regards to the PCU. Also, I cannot take an official military standing against the CAS because I neighbor the Ukraine quite closely. Because of this, if I were to engage them I would surely lose because of my inferior AF in terms of diversity. So, I'll have to stay relatively blank during this conflict.

And 20 million soldiers? That's madness. They must all have a gun and two clips, and sent out with no training. The only way you could get numbers that big is through conscription and almost no training. I'll take it these guys will be cannon fodder, while the elite troops wait for them to all die before going in.

The campaign in Ethiopia with the Egyptian Marines has been going very well. There has been only moderate resistance from militants, who have been being crushed. Two main roads two the capital have been secured, and the cities of Dese and Nekemte have been occupied. We will base our strike on the capital from there. Also, all of the cities inside the two main roads are to be tackled soon via the inner roads, plus the Blue Nile River, which we are also quickly gaining control of.

Now, as we prepare to invade the capital, strategic bombing will commence. Hardened fortifications, bunkers, and highly concentrated forces will be eliminated first, then factories, fuel and ammo dumps, warehouses and factories will go.

I hope to have the capital by tomorrow afternoon.

Moving along, the SSW would like to bargain with the PCU. We will manufacture you 40 MRNCs for the expansion 100 acres in British Colombia. These resources will be directed towards manufacturing purposes alone.

Still moving, border fortifications along the Ukrainian border have heated up with the developing combat situation in East Russia. This is not be mistaken with an act of aggression nor to threaten those near the border, instead, it is a formal precaution that must be made. Also, a conscription has been issued in South Africa for some 20,000 more troops to join legion with the Regulars of the SSW. More information will be given once the actuall bill is established.

20 million soldiers all mobilizing to the same area of operations is going to be very difficult. You need to take into consideration that everyone of these soldiers needs to be trained in some sort of winter/cold weather warfare. Also, those troops need equipment (including vehicles) and rations (which will take quite a well to supply to such a large number of troops) that can withstand the Russian environment. Even though you have a numerical advantage you could still be at an overall disadvantage compared to the PCU, due to its position and highly trained fighting force. I hope I don't come across as rude in this comment, but we are trying to be as realistic as possible in this group aren't we?

Just remember to not overcommit. You have control of quite a bit of land, which all needs to be defended. But if you over commit over some useless territory, thing might not go too well in other parts of your country(ies).

20 million is the Chinese, Russian and Ukranian combined. I myself have fewer than a million soldiers in the front. And Russia is the most important country in the world to the CAS. it's important. we will defend it.

Yes the factories are in siberia but the head quarters is in Yerevan. And C-130's are completely unstealthy and would be shot down before they got within a mile of the front.

Unless the Chinese military has gotten a major equipment, training, and weapon overhaul, they'd wouldn't stand much of a chance (that may be partly my opinion, but it also has some truth to it); also considering that even though they'll be attacking in spring, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) that area of Russia, never becomes a very ideal place, temperate wise. Now, I'm not saying you have no chance at all and that you won't win, but it may be longer and bloodier than predicted due to the fact that numbers don't always give the advantage. Basically, take your time, look over all your options, and don't rush things. I find that your threat to sink civilian cargo ships to be a bit extreme, as those are public waters. I'm currently nuetral at the moment, meaning I won't engage or support either opposing force. And I didn't find your post rude, you expressed your opinions and reactions, which needed to be done. To the PCU: You need to take into consideration your supply lines and their security. And you may need to further fortify your AO, namely with more air defenses. Boy, oh boy, ain't politics fun! :p

20 million soldiers trying to land on peice of narrow land... They're gonna have to get wet, you don't have enough planes to drop 20 million from the air. So they're going through the cold water in the cold winter, all the while under attack... Plus, we might be shooting cold water at you to further soak landing troops, inducing hypothermia, and when night comes... the ones that don't get it, then they sure will be as cold as heck.

Also, if you're gonna try and blockade the ENTIRE Pacific Ocean, you're gonna have use to deal with, we have a navy, and Alaska does too. Plus, that's a lot of water to cover.

You have a point with the missiles though... I wouldn't put it past you to nuke the whole Pacific coast over a bit of east Russia...

I do not intend to kill any civilians. The cargo i will be destroying is anything going to the PCU. Any civilian who is sailing ammunition and guns to the PCU does not count as an innocent civilian in my eyes...

And I do expect to lose over five million soldiers on this front. But it has to be done.

Something I just discovered that really helps me:
The Kamcatcha peninsula consists mainly of Muskeg, a mossy swamp stuff. if I blow a hole the size of a basketball in a bunker, everyone inside drowns. Also, tanks and mobile artillery are incapable of traveling over it, so they are forced to use roads... easy targets. I believe I won't have to do as much bombing as I anticipated, and Su-51s will work.

i believe the only thing that could stop the CAS from winning here is the RA. if they join in, the going is gonna get tough...

What exactly is the PCU's reason for taking this little "useless" strip of land, was it because you we're new and itching for some action or is there a legitimate motive.

As for Russia's owner: have you used this territory for anything? I highly doubt you've done anything useful in that area, so perhaps the you could allow the PCU have a small presence to do whatever they're there for in the first place, but you would still have ownership over that territory. This would be a peaceful and effecient way to end this conflict, that is, if the PCU agrees to the terms.

With 57 of the largest flying-wings under Ukrainian control, the SSW would like to propose a 10 mile no fly zone on either side of the SSW-Ukrainian border around Hungary and Slovakia on my side and Ukraine and Romania on yours. So, this would leave a 20 mile blank spot as to prevent some "stray" ordinances breaching our earlier compromise.

Originally, Shelton went in for reasons unknown. I thought it would be useful to serve as a barrier between Alaska and the rest of America and the CAS, plus give them something else to worry about in the Korean War 3 or whatever. Now, it's not completely useless (it's got some useful elememts, like tungsten), I was trying a last resort wording to avoid conflict. I offered Kamchatka back, but Jack would not have it, so looks like he's dead set on war.

Horus almighty, what a mess we have here! I think I'm just going to give a few updates on Prusso-Egypt first...

In Ethiopia, the capital has been occupied. The battle lasted for around eight hours today and the last bits of resistance are being extinguished now. Moderate to light losses were taken. We believe that the majority of the militant forces were defeated in this battle, so we shouldn't expect very much through the rest of the country.

Our next plan is to once again divide the country up into sections using the roads like borders. Forces will zigzag their way through each section using the inside roads, securing cities along the way. We hope to take at least one section a day, and there are three left.

The new Egyptian Army is now being developed. I won't be able to make the infantry until some Egyptian nemes headdresses come in from a BrickLink order from France,(stupid mail...) but I think I may be able to build and digitally render its equipment and vehicles.

All progress on all other projects has pretty much stopped due to schoolwork. I'm always looking for time to work on it, though, so you should expect something from me sometime!

And I think that about wraps it up for the night.

I guess I'm the only one of me and my personal fan club/faction who knows what we're doing in east Russia. It's got some resources we don't have at home, it's a good bulwark against CAS invasion of Alaska, and it was supposed to free up the Korean campaign a little more, but now that's over.

Well, after the swift and decisive attacks by a large coalition of nations, I believe I am correct in saying that Dave Smith no longer posesses any territory anywhere in our storyline.

As for Cochran, I have no idea. I don't believe he's active and therefor I can not accurately tell you where he is located.
except for a little base hidden some where in the world

How did you escape New Zealand. We had it under naval and air blockade.

That's a fourth of the entire active-duty Marine Corps (as of today's numbers), and I didn't even know California possed that many forces.

Did I say Marines? Sorry, i meant regular infantry, and for California's statistics I took the total US stats and divided by the percentage of the population and GDP that California has in the US. Its all realistic, but a bit more than it would have been in 2009, since this has been 20+ years since today.

That sounds like a good idea. I would like to be able to fly unarmed recon drones within 1/4 mile, but armed aircraft will be restricted to 10 miles.

UAVs are fine, but seeing as though my AF wouldn't stand a chance against yours, I'd like to keep at that. Still, I would like to induce a bit of land-based trade between our nations so in the long-run we are not entirely bickering just because of our political namesake.

OK, here are my hesitations for not wanting an peace here:

You are the RA's closest ally. We are the RA's worst enemy.

You have cannons that could devestate the Sukhoi and Tupolev aircraft companies in aprox. 1 second.

I will propose an alliance under these terms:

No armed aircraft are flown from your outpost

No cannons or missiles unable to be hand-lauched are stationed there. (No large SAMs.)

Less than 50,000 Armed Soldiers are stationed there.

I will allow you to keep the area above the Kamcatcha Peninsula under these terms. We will not fly aircraft within 10 miles of your new border if these are accepted.

The South African countries of Eritrea, Kenya and Somalia have been subdued and have officially surrendered. Dijibouti has not surrendered, but has no army or airforce left. The King is rumored to have commited suicide.

Land based trade sounds highly benificial to both of us. What would you like to trade?

Anything you wish. The fields further west are able to trade cereals, cattle, etc. Another item that may boost both or either economy would be automobiles seeing as though Germany manufactures a great deal high-end vehicles. Also, it's come to my attention that Ukraine controls most of the world's titanium, correct? Anyhow, the SSW can offer a great deal of ore, copper, peat, uranium, and salt.

Yes, Ukraine has somewhere around 80% of the world's natural titanuim, according to my encyclopedia. I would like to buy uranium and copper as well as the cereals and cattle. I could trade them for Titanium, or possibly fighter planes. As you manufacture your own vehicles, I'm assuming you won't want Kraz vehicles, which are manufactuerd in Ukraine. We can also sell Antonov-built transport and passenger planes, which are also built in Ukraine.

I believe a dose of titanium would do good in exchange for all the items you listed. Also, passenger planes would increase the civilian basis of my economy, so purchasing at least five a the moment would be a nice boost in all aspects.
