Guess you boys will have to go and play a bit of Militant Monopoly to make up for this.

And you'll have to go and not take action against any power better than you.

(you know this is all in good fun, right?)

@ Nick Shelton: I also am interested in Madagascar. May I provide you with immense air power in exchange for the top 1/8th or so of land? I am only interested in having a Navy base there. If you want money I can pay for Madagascar. I am open for negotiations if you wish.

In the case of the Balkans campaign I would remain neutral. It would appear this has resolved though.

I am now invading Mozambique.

Actually, we're not interested. The Conference of the Governators decreed that we're looking too much like a militant imperialist alliance and less like a militant alliance in general. Nick is just sailing to Madagascar... Just because. He might be headed to our base in Malta.

Brendon, the remaining half of Bulgaria will need to be ceded to Armenia. If you agree and cede this to them, I will offer you four free ports anywhere you want in the MU.

Also, there is going to be an international convention in the MU city of Barcelona from this Friday to Tuesday. Any and all world leaders are welcome to attend the festivities.

We'll be there, if only to chill proper and look cool.

Shooo! Had to read a ton in the previous forum because I missed the whole Greece conflict.
Concerning Greece:
I wasn't able to find out why hostilities occured in the first place and why whatever country, invaded part of it in the first place.

In other news regarding Australia's mainland(yeah it took that long):
It's been argreed upon that the SSW will be given a north eastern slice of Australia's mainland to a reasonable extent.
Armenia will be given a slice of land on the western coast containing Geraldton, if that is their wish.
Scotland will not be given control over any territory, but will still keep a military presence in order to defend it's new ally of Australia. All of these actions have been taken in order to halt the any possible hostilities against Australia, which most likely would have led to it's conquest.
Scotland is not currently aware of any other countries that were directly involved in Australia, but if there were, Scotland will open up negotiations with Australia, once more.

Satellite photos of California's prototype Shasta class Battle Tank are leaked to various world powers. The high resolution spy satellite photo shows a Shasta with a California Commando during night operations testing in the Sierras. With the release of the Shasta tank later imminent, this information only gives a short forewarning of this unit's capabilities. View the leaked images here:

seeing as it appears to be open, I will attempt to take Madagascar. The Ukranian Navy will set sail and arrive there in three days.

Mining companies and Military Bases are being established all over our South African domain.

Mozambique is almost conquered, but a geurilla war clan is doing an outstanding job at evading our elite corps. They are being tracked down and will most likely give in soon, or flee over the border.

The SSW's gunship program has slowed due to some technical difficulties (read "school"). Rest assured, it is nearly completed.

In other news, a mobilization order for some 10,000 troops has been ordered for South Germany; now, the Southern State of Germany. Another 5,000 will be sent to North Germany; now, the North State of Germany. They have been called so because of their different movements in development.

Also, a new addition to the AF may be in order shortly which should read bomber. Further information will be given later.

I am greatly sorry for my delay to thank you for your agreement with me to trade southern Poland with Germany. I simply cannot thank you enough. I was very excited with the prospect of having Germany once again- I wanted to rebuild the German Empire(2nd Reich style). I shall soon proceed to do so.

A bit of clarification is needed, however:

Firstly, Germany now belongs to me and southern Poland to you, correct?

Secondly: Please remember that the parts of Prussia still in Poland are the northern strip and Silesia.

Again thank you so much for your kindness and mercy- I believe my behavior may have been much worse if this had not worked out ;-)

P.S.- I have ADHD, and was very excited upon returning to MOCpages after three days away from it. That may help explain my questionable conduct. Sorry once again, I vow to never act here in that manner ever again.

Could we work out a trade, Dr.? In my opinion Poland is much more valuable than Germany. It has a wider array of resources and a very unique geography. It has one of Europe's few deserts. Trading it may actually be somewhat of a blow to my economy- but I'm willing to take that to get Germany back.

So, can we make a deal?

Today, the SSW government has passed the bill to separate its military into two separate entities: the Self-Defense Army (SDA) and the Expeditionary Combat Service (ECS). The separation comes from the need of two efficient militaries to protect the lands in Europe (SDA) and those found outside of the European hub (ECS).

Anyhow, the gunship project is coming to end as the final product is nearly complete. Although much smaller than those found in many modern militaries now, it does promise to be agile and effective. The performance speed is already twice the speed of those found in the US and, most likely, those of Ukraine.

The tail's already being thickened and I just added the stub wings today, so they're being experimented with. Name-wise, I'll probably stick with another acronym and unofficially name it the "Halo" Light Attack Gunship.

No photos of the gunship will be released until the final product is complete. Armenia was the only exception seeing as though we have a basis of trade.

Also, 10,000 troops will be stationed along the SSW-Prussian amongst our European borders in recognition of a possible outbreak yet again; an additional 8,000 will be placed in the SAP. AAA emplacements along Ukraine will increase for the same reason seeing as though Prusso-Egypt is trying to draw the said nation's attention. The respected borders and agreements will still be recognized, but security comes first.

Also, it seems alliances have been out of whack for some time; therefore, the SSW is proposing the Reformed Union of European States to take the place of the faulty UEN. Those who join the RUES will still direct itself in collaboration to the UEN, but seeing as though it holds no authority in Europe, the RUES will take the outstanding place holder until the UEN becomes functional again. Several nations will be excluded from joining given past history and their tendency to overlook their alliances. The said nations will not be revealed, however.

Looking at this world from afar, I have started to notice something a little disturbing.

Three nations, all which we know very well, have all gained huge amounts of territory and power and mostly dominate their specific regions. These nations are the Malenco Union, the SSW, and Armenia. Two leaders of those nations are also admins.

At the same time, the USRA and the CAS seem to be slowly losing their previously immense power. They too are admins.

What am I seeing here? I think I might be seeing some sort of pattern or maybe a future power struggle in the group.

Administration has nothing to do with our gains. We were approached because the founders of the group have unorthodox schedules and cannot administer their strengths as regularly as needed; thus, we were granted the title of Administrator to help things run more smoothly. Also, our gains come from timely ordeals that do not happen at the snap of a finger. We pull our weight without abusing our authority. If you noticed, the MU and myself still acknowledge Ukraine and the RA above ourselves to prevent such low claims of struggle. Keep that in mind.

I have no intention of expanding my borders further. I started with half of turkey and michael approved my invasion of the rest. I invaded Iran because of the nuclear threat, and I gave the eastern half it's independance . Turkmenistan because they shot down my satalites. Bulgaria to secure the ukraine's southern front and to secure land that used to be turkey's. Lebanon to support the MU. Syria because we had information that said they had nuclear and chemical weapons which have now been captured and destroyed.

I have officially finished the Prowler, and I am quite happy with the results. I was actually able to get both of the large armored plates to be completely light grey, although they are as thick as a brick.

I also just completed the Egyptian Army's first vehicle, the OMV-1 'Chariot.' The Pharaoh has approved it as a wonderful addition to the Egyptian fighting arsenal. Both the Prowler and the Chariot should be uploaded sometime this week.

My work will now focus on a new super-fighter, which I shall attempt to render in LeoCAD, a virtual building program; 'Cuirassiers,' or modern heavy cavalry, to support my normal cavalry; and lastly an attack helicopter.

Also- the wonderful Egyptian harvest season has produced a gigantic surplus of cereal crops, pomegranates, and bananas, which were introduced to Egypt back in 2033. Anyone interested in trading, let me know- I'll be happy to share with you.

Do you need enlightenment on the ICF as a whole or just what's been going down? If it's the first, then it is rather simple. Each person is a representative of his/her nation and simply states the actions of the said nations and their purpose for doing so, etc. Simplistic politics. There are separate threads for you personal statistics (military-wise) and other odd-and-ins. If you need further help just let me know.

Where does the new world fit in this post Dark Ages of yours, Cliffe? And I must remind you, the Eastern Roman Empire never fell, they were more powerful in the 600s than they were in say, the 1200s. The Turks wore them down century after century until Constantinople itself fell in 1452, I think. Last year was the 555th year since the Eastern Roman Empire fell, by the way. I was the only one to remember at school...

The SSW will be expanding its military factories to increase production of the arising aeronautic equipment. Four new factories should be opened by the end of next week. These factories shall increase increase the rate of production for MCAPs, LCGs, and several dozen assorted powerplants for heavier ground-based vehicles.

Speaking of aircraft, the SSW is preparing a contract and bill for the development of a tank-buster similar to the American A-10 and the Ukrainian "Barracuda". Hopefully, the SSW will match Ukraine's air power soon. Although we have no dedicated fighter, interceptor, or bomber at the moment, our government is rather excited to contract all of the above.

MIL has developed a Trio of helicopters to replace the older soviet made helicopters still in Armenian service. One resembles the Chanook, one resembles the UH-60 Backhawk and the third is designed to replace the Mi-24 Hind.

Lebanon has been officially surrendered with the help of the MU. We are offering the MU two port's on the coast and the ability to create a military base any where in the new province. The SSW will be following Armenia's advance and will later produce a new utility helicopter. Dual-rotor is the primary look and function currently. Although the AAUC serves nicely, it's becoming a bit useless in terms of cargo capacity and manufacturing them is growing rather extensive in regards to the high numbers needed to support the SSW war machine. Later, another tiltrotor will be replacing the AAUC, but that's later.

A Uganda terrorist group dealt a terrible blow to our armed forces there, destroying five Ka-53s and a Ka-65 and killing nearly 100 people in their raid on a Ukrainian Army base. They are being tracked by the Elite Corps, and a Helicopter wing is going to attempt a rocket assault on their outpost.

Antonov is beginning work on their first stealth fighter. It is supposed to be a small, inexpensive and maneuverable gun fighter, capable of outmaneuvering an Su-51, at less than half the price.

Kamov has won the contract for a new front-line assault hellicopter. The heli is supposed to be stealthy and extrememly agile, with an armament of one 23mm gatling gun and eight folding fin Anti-tank missiles in concealed weapon bays. The missiles can me replaced with 125mm rockets, or if needed a laser designator. (Enabling the Helicopter to designate targets for a high altitude bomber in dense cloud cover.)

13 LCGs have been completed with full ordinance. Ten of these will be sent to Armenia under our said agreement while the three others will be sent to Germany. The promised factories will be finished quite soon seeing as though aluminum buildings don't take long to erect.

In notion of commerce, the SSW has recognized that Armenia has no dedicated submarine; nuclear or otherwise. Currently, the SSW has a design (not yet posted due to technical errors) that can easily adapted into the Armenian Navy. They're fairly small and would thereby be excellent for coastal patrol and fleet escort.

Right now, the SSW has only produced 20 seeing as though exerting materials for such singular vehicles is rather tedious. So, only 8 will be open for sail at $4.3 billion each at full operation minus armament compared to near $10.5+ billion for your basic ballistic submarine plus armament. To be honest, our submarines are few billion less than the armament of American subs.

Given full operation (which means lifetime service) and no armament, the price is $4.3 billion. Again, that's full operation which means the SSW will provide the given petrol needed to operate the submarine as well as the according maintenance. Most submarines should last 10-15 years before actual redesign is needed.

4.3 Billion?

Full operation. Yes. A submarine itself (generalized) is priced at $1.3 billion to $3.2 billion during construction and completion. One round trip will cost nearly half a billion dollars with ammunition, rations, and fuel. Maintenance is another quarter million. All-in-all this adds up because of the highly expensive powerplants, hull design, and long-term adaptations and revisions.

Well, a GDP works like a mortgage. You'll be granted a bill (government loan) which will then be spent towards whatever you want granted it falls in the guidelines on that bill. Then, small payments will be deducted from the taxpayers at set rate which will later equal out to whatever you pay in about 20-45 years. Although GDP does stand for Gross Domestic Product, it is subdivided to act like house payments and thus show your output nationally.

Hmmm? If all I did was expand to South America then eventually Texas would become a corrupt state rune by a crazy Mexican guy hopped up on dope. So no, I want his American land. To quote Dr. Spontaneous when I asked if I neede to pay for usage of his airfields he said, "There's no need to pay." So thought about that and am taking his advice, on a different matter of course.

Nukes are not smiled upon... But MOABs are.

As good Americans, we'd rather not see European powers in the remains of nation that fought for it's freedom from such powers. Especially monarchies. USA! USA! USA!

Wait.

URSA! TEXAS! PCU! URSA! TEXAS! PCU!

There we go. Don't take this a declaration of hostilities, but if the time to choose a side comes, it will be with our American brothers.

As of 9:33 pm Central Daylight Time the North American Republic of Texas has declared war on the Prusso-Egyptian territories on the Continent of North America. All troops stationed in Maryland are deploying and should be in Delaware and Pennsylvania by the end of the week. 12,500 more men will be shipped by C-130s to SSW air bases in the South (with Dr. S's permission) and the ship to Maryland and then to Delaware in three days. Texas would also like to request the usage of any airfields by neighboring allies. Remember we do not want to drag URSA and Scotland into this but anyone willing to fight for America will be welcomed.

The SSW will grant Texas access to our territory seeing as though I don't feel like getting stomped by the entire RT and URSA. That'd just be futile. However, if war touches our soil we may take one of two options: either reject further use of our territory or declare action upon both factions (this doesn't necessarily mean war). Godspeed.

No problem. Where would you like to dock?

MIL has developed a Trio of helicopters to replace the older soviet made helicopters still in Armenian service. One resembles the Chanook, one resembles the UH-60 Backhawk and the third is designed to replace the Mi-24 Hind.

Lebanon has been officially surrendered with the help of the MU. We are offering the MU two port's on the coast and the ability to create a military base any where in the new province. Syria is roughly 70% secured. The Syrian military is in a state of diseray. All that is left is religious extremist doing hit and runs on my supply columns.

Sorry for not getting back to you as quickly, lets just call it a communications breakdown. Anyway, We'd like to dock on the Western Coast of Saudi Arabia. It'll only be a day or so anyway. For use of the port, we'll give you a million USD for the port use, payment for fuel, and maybe I'll throw in a Shasta-Mk.1 Battle Tank?

Get ready to be POUNDED, invader!

I would also like to inform you and your allies about the ESA of Prusso-Egypt- it cannot be 'Americanized,' it already is. It is America, with a few small tweaks and regulations to increase its prosperity and make it a better place to live. The culture has changed a little bit, but most American things remain. Rock music, baseball, football, hot dogs, apple pie, jeans & t-shirts, and most importantly, capitalism. We were even tolerant enough to exclude them from the high automobile tax, letting it keep its car culture, although the use of fossil fuels is still taxed so high it's nearly impossible. Thus, the cars run on electricity, bio-fuels, or my favorite, hydrogen fuel cells.

Anyway, I would also like you all to meet the leader of the ESA. You will be fighting him as well as my allies and I.

The SSW isn't getting involved. I'm merely allowing Texas to pass through my territory. I don't have the money to exert on combat orientated operations right now; I have to let my economy recuperate from the colonization programs that have occurred. However, if war touches my soil I will disregard all of the above reasons and take my toll on both factions.

And yet everyone seems to forget the small sliver that is Scottish Maryland. :P Anywho, it's seems the only way for Ukraine to commit forces to this conflict would be from the Atlantic Ocean, which might take awhile to get to considering I doubt the PCU or SSW will allow you to fly or transport forces through their terrirtories, due to the fact that if you went west from your country you'd have to get over SSW and other European nations' land, if you go east, you'll have to go over the RA/PCU/URSA or Canada's territory and if you go by way of sea, you'll have to sail all the way around Africa or through the Mediterranean Sea, which the MU and Armania might not be too happy about. As for Texas, you'll be numerically "outgunned" if Ukraine is able to commit multiple forces to the area, so you'll have to play a very careful strategy, and make sure you commit the correct types of forces in the right places. Scotland will allow full usage of the Maryland territory to support Texas forces, but Scotland will not engage or act against any of the waring nations, but, similiar to the SSW's statement, Scotland will fully retaliate against any force that engages Scottish forces or invades any part of Scotland's Maryland territory.

In response to Maryland's echo, the SSW is proposing that we form a pact of sorts to mirror each other's efforts to defend our lands in America. If either is directly included in the war involuntarily, both of us would be able to direct retaliation with full effectiveness and devotion. However, all of this is only a suggestion.

In note to Ukraine, I do not wish to engage you. Therefore, I will still honor our agreement as to protect myself from combat with a superior power in terms of air equipment. I suppose this is the same deal that went down in Korea. Granted, I believe you have plenty of air space to choose from, so no worries.
