Ok, first off, you have three options: the CAS, the UEN, or the RA. Depending on which one you choose, there are different geographical locations that would make more sense then others...

More info later, gotta go for now.

Just in case Michael doesn't return...

The UEN is the European-based alliance.

The RA is based in North America.

The CAS is found in Asia and the farther reaches of western Europe.

Geographically, and to be more politically correct, one should ally oneself with the according alliance based upon location. There are few exceptions; however, those were made by the founding Admins.

There are also subsidiary factions like the PCU which is a union of States that fall under the RA command.

AND the glorious Federal Empire of Prusso-Egypt. Not to intrude or boast, but I think it should be classified as it's own faction now.

Almost... lol. But no. I'm just good allies with its members. Jeffrey thought the same thing just recently. If I were to be in any faction, that would probably be it, but instead, I have my own members... :D

It's like the Abbasid Empire all over again, isn't it? :-) That was a great era for the Middle East...

>_> In any case you'd fall under the same lines of the PCU; plus, you aren't a founding alliance and it would just be awkward to change all in the cove by the addition of another title.

I believe I am accidentally breaking the no-spamming rule but, to have my memory refreshed, if I have seceded from URSA can I still be a part of the RA? Because it appears that I fall under both the RA and the Latin American Confederacy. (which, thanks to me, does not exist)

You're RA with us only if you want to be. Though it's advised you should be...

As far as I know, URSA and RA are practically the same thing. not technically, though, as I think RA is mostly Michael Ford, while URSA is an alliance and more proper term. If you want to refer to Michael, just say RA.

There's very few European countries left open. Czech Republic and Serbia, I think, are the only ones left. Maybe Denmark...

I admit the definition of "RA" is confusing, since it can either stand for "Republic of Alaska" or "Republican America". In general I try to use URSA when referring to Republican America and her allies...but I hadn't quite got that far when we named the theme.

@ Gober: Even though you're not a member of the URSA, you're still in the RA category since you're allied with us. People in the CAS category need not be CAS members, people like the MU and Prusso-Egypt are CAS-oriented for example but are neither Asian States nor part of the Confederacy.

@ JB: Like they say, there are very few European Nations left: however, there are several occupied nations that you could probably govern. Or there are several Balkan states that are open.

I have conquered Romania, but I'd be glad to let you have it. Another option is a part of Africa or South America. From there you could be allied to anybody you want to, as they are not restricted by geographical positioning.

JOIN PRUSSO-EGYPT!!!
http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/147860
You could be the Kingdom of Kush(Sudan) as long as you follow the Nubian-Egyptian theme, or you could be Libya, or join the Baltic Union with Thomas N and Maxime SamMaxAlex, or you could just join the Prussian Army or Luftwaffe. You might be able to join the Egyptian Army, Navy, or Marines as well IF you can make good Egyptian-themed military MOCs.

I'm not taking anyone else into the Baltic Union. Maxime is a good friend of mine, so I trust him to be loyal and trustworthy. I won't be accepting complete strangers.

Oh, sorry about that... that's probably a better idea anyway. Besides, two should be enough. Three would feel a little too powerful for one state in the empire.

I suppose this would be the place to formally ask if Scotland can join the UEN. Scotland would like to do this in order to become more farmillar with the nations around her; to promote trade and facilitate learning and the exchange of knowledge.

Well, I'd rather give you a choice than just assign you a nation, so here are your options. You can be either:

1- Libya

Just make sure to make your MOCs a bit Arab/Muslim-like if you choose this one.

2- Kingdom of Kush(Sudan)

If you want to do this one, I'll give you more detail, because you have to very closely follow a very particular theme for this one.

3- a General or Admiral in the Egyptian Army, Navy, or Marines

You also have to follow the Egyptian theme well for this.

4- a Field Marshal(like me!) or Air Marshal in the Prussian Army or Luftwaffe

Prussian theme for this one, of course, but not as hard to follow.

Please let me know what you pick as soon as you can so you we can get you started. The Kaiser Pharaoh(emperor of Prusso-Egypt) and I are excited about your future, JB. It's certain to be a good one.

There is NO WAY they are going to get across the Suez or through the Red Sea. There is an entire task force already in the Red Sea and the Suez Canal, and trying to get past it will be much like trying to scale a castle wall. With no siege equipment. Plus, reinforcements (another battle fleet and another task force) will be arriving from their time in America shortly. It has been a few days by now, they should have arrived.

They would have to go through two of my fleets plus Land based aircraft or they would have to go through the straits of Gibralter ( which i doubt Jeffery would let you do.

They are going to go around the Horn of Africa and into the Red Sea. I have always had forces in the Suez Canal and the Red Sea, so my forces there and the forces returning from America could both meet your fleet wherever it is.
