It's the <marquee>s, for some reason they prevent you from being able to edit your homepage.

The bet way to edit your page is you need an iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad. Then you can edit your homepage.

If you didn't put the irritating marquee tag on your homepage in the first place, it wouldn't be a problem. So: you've got no-one to blame but yourself.

Other than that: http://mocpages.com/edit_homepage_FORM.php

I notice the people complaining about this are the same ones with all the off-site HTML rubbish on their pages. Dancing ninjas and talking fruits and cursor-chasing frogs and DON'T CLICK HERE!! links..

All of which are against the rules.

I'd bet very few of them are going to remove any of said rubbish from their pages IF this "marquee" thing gets solved.

areetsa c posted the link to the edit homepage form, this short cuts the problem you are experiencing with the usual link. use that and take the marquee out yourself and then you SHOULD be able to edit your pages normally.

the link works I've just checked it.

in case you can't find his post for some reason, here is the link again.

http://mocpages.com/edit_homepage_FORM.php?

whether this will definitely clear the error or not I'm not 100% sure as I've never had a marquee on my home page.

I'd say that was a certainty. I could say more but it would be either unkind or unfair, but yeah getting the hint that that stuff is not only unnecessary but annoying just never seems to get through to some people.

Attention seeking that's all it is, so you can cut and paste some coding you found on a free download site, but do you actually know what it does?

Well, that's just too bad. On the other hand, you won't be able to put any of those "dual colour test" things or dancing ninjas or any of that other cack on your page.

Sean has been bending over backwards for some time now to fix problems that could've been avoided if members would simply read the rules, and then follow them. It's mentioned in several threads, as well, about the dangers of these additional banners, marquees, etc.

I'm sorry, but Sean's reached a point where he simply won't assist a member who has chosen to disregard the warnings (and I can't blame him, given the volume of work he already puts into this site - which, by the way, is free of charge).

Im sorry i never saw the marquee thing in the rules and if i knew i would have never put it on my page. I'm so angry because i caused this marquee thing and other people have it and i feel bad, i wish i would have known. I'm sorry everyone!!!!! Please forgive me!!!!! :(

Apparently there is a way to remove the marquee's with using a smartphone. Just search through the convo's in this group (threads like this) and your bound to find something. Hope that tip helps!
