Hmm...Let's try this...

Have her sign in with her old email address (even though it's no longer the one she uses, I think it should still allow her to sign in). Then she can go to her home page and select "delete your account" from the options at the right. She'll be asked for her password, and it should show the old email there as well. Simply enter the password and delete the account.

Let us know if that doesn't do it.

I can imagine one slight issue there, if she wants to delete her MOCpages account because she hasn't used it for a long time, and has forgotten her password, there is no way to reset the password as the details would go to the dead email address.

I had the same issue on another website when my virgin.com email address was killed off before I had chance to swap over to my gmail address on all the websites I haven't logged onto for some time. The only option you have in that scenario is to leave the dead account active and just forget about it. (unless the admins can delete it for you).

I'm sorry, Gavin. I know it IS a royal pain. Unfortunately, I can't delete the account without direct verfication from your sister that she wants her account to go bye-bye. I believe you, but the policy under these circumstances is that only the individual with the account can have their account removed. I think under the circumstances, I'd recommend just letting it go dormant.

I agree with Mark. In this case it's better to just let the account stay there. It's not hurting anyone and the way the rules are set up, there's really no way to verify that the account owner truly wants it deleted. Again, we COMPLETELY believe what you're telling us but we have to have one rule across the board for things like this so we don't have a mistake.
