I hate to break it to you, but I don't think they're going to be restored. At least you've still got the comments, eh? Permalink | April 2, 2012, 4:08 pm |

Ya that's what I thought! ya I wished it had the likes though it would have 97 instead of 54 on one of them Permalink | April 2, 2012, 4:21 pm |

Which creation? I'll spam it so it can restore likes, and then I'll delete the spam comments. Sounds good? Permalink | April 2, 2012, 6:33 pm |

I'm pretty disgusted that you people are lining up to be spammed. You got the comments, forget about the likes! Permalink | April 3, 2012, 2:28 pm |

Wait a second. Do you guys really think it is a good idea to spam your own creations to get the likes to show up correctly? Mark Kelso and Chris Phipson: Would you encourage this?

Don't you know better than to spam on purpose? It'd earn you a bad reputation and probably some form of punishment. Might I remind you that spamming is against the rules? Permalink | April 4, 2012, 12:02 pm |

I believe I was misunderstood, it is not that I wish to have my creations become more popular relative to other's, it is that my best work isn't getting recognition relative to my other work. I've been improving a lot as a builder recently and some of my best stuff doesn't even show up in my top 3 creations since that is an automatic feature of the like system. I don't know about you, but when I'm checking out a new builder, the first thing I look at is the most popular MOCs on the right hand tab. If there isn't anything I like there I usually just don't bother. Permalink | April 4, 2012, 1:16 pm |

That I will, and indeed have done. But it is upsetting to have your best creation get lost in the shuffle. I was also not serious about the spam thing. I didn't even know that it was possible to do. I thought they were joking. Permalink | April 4, 2012, 1:44 pm |

If you want recognition for those creations, why not just delete and re-post them? Just a suggestion.

That is not a bad idea. I've seriously considered doing just that since I really could improve on the pictures, but I am loathed to loose what comments I do have. Permalink | April 4, 2012, 4:08 pm |

So I see - you make some fine things, the sort of Mocs that are way above any kind of spamming.

Thank you for your kind comment. I appreciate that you took the time to look without being judgmental or rude, unlike some others who left me comments today. I can't believe taking the trouble to make a rude comment based on one silly forum post. Anyone who reads my posts, looks at my page, sees my comments, and views my creations would know that I'm no glory hound, but that I build for the love of building and that I wasn't really soliciting spams, just venting frustration and joking around.

Well, you are always welcome to comment on the old one too. I've actually given a lot of thought to your suggestion. I think that I figured out a good compromise between deletion and the status quo. I had some requests to create a technique guide for Ishii Castle, and I also would like to redo the screen shots in higher quality. So, I think that I will make a new post, once I'm done with my current project, that will showcase the new screen shots along with building instructions. Thanks for the suggestion.
