I get the PG filter thing but when I first looked there was no filter and it just seems like something we don't need on a family site.

It's a depiction of a very very racist organisation, and is the first MOC I've seen where I actually agree the user should be banned. Its been posted with the specific aim to cause offense.

For the KKK one:
Sean and I are already on it. We added the PG filter for now and Sean is talking to the poster.
Possible further action to be taken.
For the first one... it has the PG filter but I'll bring it to Sean's attention either way. That's one of those that kinda dances right on the line of allowable content. We'll get Sean's input before anything's done.

I am certainly no racist, but don't you think removing it is a little extreme? What about all of the MOCs about 1940s Germany and all the MOCs about the British Empire. Both of which were racist. The latter being less so.

Probably not. Those organizations (although they are still famous for their beliefs) aren't as well known in today's society, so I'm sure if someone posted something along the lines of a Black Panthers post it probably woulnd't get the same type of attention.
Just my opinion.

considering how some people kicked off about minifigs in nazi uniforms a few months back, I'm inclined to think that someone might, but I doubt as many people would recognize a black panther as recognise a member of the Klan.
I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt if I'm honest, I mean it isn't as if they are setting up a burning cross.

It's possible, however, that this was created as satire, or perhaps to show a MOC of "the bad guys" -- not to glorify them. But without context and/or a reason for having created this, he appears to be promoting racist ideas which is in violation of our terms of use.
I've e-mailed the creator of this MOC and asked for the page to be updated with relevant context. If nothing changes and/or he does not email me back I will delete the page and his MOCpages account.
