I wonder what others think of this. One MOCer who is trying to get attention is promising a deal of "likes for favorites"...this is half joke, but I dont think it is in the spirit of this website. what do u think ?
Another question, there is one case I felt a person is posing as a child but is maybe older actually, has this happened to anyone here ?

unfortunately that's how some creations get 100s of likes that are not worth 10 and other masterpieces go unnoticed and under ranked! Unfortunately sometimes its a popularity contest not a reflection of good MOCcing! Which doesn't seem fair.

The whole like for like thing is allowed, but I do dissagree with idea. I used to do the same thing, and I earned a negative reputation.
THe aldut pretending to be kid thing, it's certainly possible that someone on MOCpages could do that, which is too bad, and the best thing to do is to ignore them. However, if they are doing something unusual or inappropriate, then report them.

So right. I just leave builders like this well alone, I can see their creations are pretty poor most of the time and the likes are from people who's creations are also pretty poor.

Maybe harsh but definitely fair - I'd rather get 10 likes from good builders than 100 from poor ones : )

yep it happens, it is however discouraged as bartering for likes just gets you a bad reputation. As for an adult posing as a child... hmmm, you might want to let the moderators know who you mean so they can keep an eye on them. While it could just be harmless "messing around" the internet does attract predators who exploit the anonymity the net provides.

Exactly what I would say. Really, like everyone else is saying, ignore these people and concentrate on building MOCs. Only IF these people start to become a problem should you report them. And otherwise, just leave these guys alone. They probably won't help you in anyway.
