Guys, I'm getting royally annoyed by reading "I didn't know..." in response to the question "why didn't you post in this other thread".
So here is a simple way we can all help one another out.
Make the title of your enquiry simple, and OBVIOUS. For example if you need help with adverts, actually use the word ADVERTS or ADS in the title.
Similarly, please check ALL the previous inquiry titles to see if your question has already been asked. Looking at the top 5 will probably not answer most questions.
If possible, post links to problem content. Comments can be quoted and the QUOTE posted in your inquiry. Just cut and paste it. If the problem is with a specific member or group, post a link to their home page. Naming them may not be enough to identify them if you have spelt their name wrong, used a nick name or they have a common name. For example "can you check out Mike's comments for me" is not enough information.
Try to check out the help section before posting here. It doesn't answer everything, but does give you the basics for most things to do with the website. The link is here: http://www.mocpages.com/help/
STAY ON TOPIC. This is a help group, not an open discussion group. Derailed topics make it harder to get to the point.
DON'T use one question topic to ask a question about something completely unrelated. For example complaining about ADS in a MOTD topic is not helpful, and can lead to your question not being answered.
BE PATIENT!! We don't have 24hr service here, a reply may take a day or 2, so creating a second thread to ask the same thing is pointless, annoying and uncalled for.
Finally, don't post "me too" posts unless specifically asked to. Global problems will no doubt be obvious to Sean, so having 6 people telling him they have the same problem adds nothing to help him sort it out.
