Stolen MOCs
I have found a person who has uploaded this MOC: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/65527#reviews Because of some research, I found out that it is not actually his, but someone else's from BZpower. (Kid doesn't even know how to spell Bionicle) If you could do something, I would be pleased.

Do you have a link to the original. If you don't have that, there isn't much the moderators can do. They don't have the time to be searching all over the Internet. I'm only saying this so they can take care of the problem as soon as possible rather than telling you what I just said. If you have proof and can give a link, that will really help them get everything fixed.

Legoboy is right. We'll need proof that the images aren't his. If you can get us that, we'll be more than happy to look into it and take the needed action.

Hm. I searched the same thing that I did last time but got nothing. I'll keep looking until I find the same page.

Those don't look the same to me (?)
Similar sure, but not the same.
Stealing a MOC would be copying a picture and reuploading it as your own, which isn't what's happened here.
Plus when it's an LDD design it's not really a tangible theft.

he disquised it. it's the turrets you should be looking at. he doesn't WANT you to think he is stealing. LDD isn't stealing? how?

Hello Claw

My point is that to qualify as a 'stolen' MOC an actual picture must be copied by the thief and re-uploaded to their page.

This guy has just replicated (part of) a design. He has not copied an image and re-uploaded it claiming it's his own. Therefore I'm 99% sure that this is fine, and the MOCpages mods will not intervene.

all right. *sigh*. but what this person is doing is really bugging me. I guess I'll just leave it alone then.

Yeh - it's bad form. They won't earn much respect here by replicating other peoples' designs.

There is another guy called TheBestLegoGunMaker 1 whose copied a few, most that he deleted, except for one: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/358275#comments which was a copy of this: http://www.flickr.com/photos/jeroen_ottens/7467925780/ other ones were copied from models on MOCpages, if you can access his trash can you'll be able to see them.

While we've all agreed that it's bad form to copy another builder's work without giving credit, it's not against the rules exactly. Now, if he had simply copied the photos and tried to pass them off as his own... different story. But as it stands he hasn't broken any rules.

Still... bad form on his part. Truly bad form.

Yeah, it looks like what happened is that he just copied the thing, part for part. The pictures are different, but the build is just a copy of Detomaso's brilliant build.

the same builder also copied this:http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/366206

from this:https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7021/6768809897_7883f3bbf9_n.jpg

save for some color differences, this is a straight copy of the latter MOC. again, please do something about this. (you may notice he also practically claims it's his.)

Only one technique was used from the other MOC. You could easily tell that those two MOCs aren't the same. And first off.. How do you know that he didn't ask permission to use the turret technique?

However, I did find out that this minifig: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/65367 was taken from this guy: http://iamktn.tumblr.com/post/1607991915/shredder-from-tmnt-via-minifigures

Dude. You seriously need to examine the details closely before you go running to report a theft. Let's start with these details. That MOCpage Creation was posted 5 years ago. And then it was Blogged on a blog, 2 years ago.

If you have good proof that any MOCs were ever stolen.... You do know that there's a group for reporting them, don't you? http://www.mocpages.com/group.php/7510 This is the MOCpages help Group, It's not for reporting stolen creations.
