There's an existing ad topic, you know. It's right there, over on the right. Please don't make threads for topics that are already being discussed. :I

By the way, these ads are fine. They're t-shirt ads. There've been worse ones on MOCpages in the past.

It's a girl in a strap top? Admittedly it's the lowest form of advertising to get guys to click, but you see more flesh than that on a summers day on the high street. These ads break no rules.

Amen.

I often wonder if any of the people that complain about such things have ever been to a public pool or beach...

There HAVE been ads that shouldn't be on MOCpages ("enlargement pills" and things like that) and those don't stay too long. We deal with them. Seeing a woman in a bikini is NOT a problem.

If there's a legit problem, we WILL deal with it.

Unless she's in a bikini on the back of a Honda VT750C Shadow, then apparently you need parental guidance... http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/37022

This is generally your fault, as the ads you get is based off of your internet history. Just what have you been looking up recently?

He isn't wrong. Some advertisements here are based off of where you go. Do those other websites carry the same or similar advertisements you see here? It has been confirmed by Sean Kenney that the advertisements are tied to local vacinity, frequently viewed places, and Lego-related websites. It sounds a little creepy that this advertising service stalks where you go, but I get advertisements that are shared by other websites I go to all the time now. It's when things are blinking, animating, covering half your screen, talking, or whatever when things really are not meant to be here.

That's true. For example when I go to surf Amazon.co.uk and after that come back in MOCpages there are ads from amazon. But most of my ads are hot women (and I haven't been in that kind of sites) but I'm perfectly fine with them. :D

Empty your cookies and temporary internet files or cache... Do this every so often. It might get rid of them!

I'd just like to add that whilst some people hang their hat on the 'it's what you search' argument, that's only partly true.

Lots of the ads are also just random. I've never searched for anything remotely related to 'real combat lightsabres' or whatever it is, not 'glasses' (I don't need them) and certainly not 'weight loss'. These ads are totally, completely random.

However, IF I WERE to search for the above, they would likely appear more often.

Eeeexactly

Alright, we can lock this topic now. Not that I am opposed to lady pecks, but we don't really need to keep talking about this stuff. At least in a group that is for help with this website.
