I thought I posted here the other day, but I guess not... My homepage has been acting up the last few weeks. I went to edit my homepage, made the changes I wanted, but when I pressed preview my comment, it just reloaded the page I was on. it acted like the link was messed up, however as there hasn't been a storm of angry MOCers, I know it's probably on my end. does anyone have any advice as to how I can get this fixed? in addition, the text which was originally on my homepage has been replaced with a box that looks like the page when I first created my account, and has a link to my homepage on it, which is kinda useless as I'm already on my homepage. you can look for yourself here: http://www.mocpages.com/home.php/84463 Permalink
We had someone else post today mentioning a similar situation (in that their home page had lost most of it's text and info). Often Home Page problems stem from additional HTML that someone's thrown in. But, it doesn't sound like either of you had banners and what not.
I'd like to sit tight briefly to see if someone with more knowledge of the technical side of things might have any thoughts. But, if we don't see any suggestions, then I'll pass the info along to Sean. Hopefully, we can get the problem solved quickly.
I was the one who posted that. Yeah, I couldn't do anything. Every time I tried to click 'preview my changes', it reloaded the page. For some reason, after three months it was fine. Maybe if you wait it will fix itself like it did for me... Permalink
