Okay, I just made an account. And when I go to comment on MOCS, My comment doesn't show after I click post comment. I then go to the list of comments I've made on my home page, and they're all there, saying they will be posted within 24 hours. And I didn't post and rude things in them. Let me give you an example. Here's a comment I posted:- Great build mate! :- . I find this rather annoying that it has to be approved.

Indeed. There is no comment for the thread of the person who started the thread. I find this funny.

Yeah, I just hopped over to look at the comments that need moderation, and there they were. The only thing I can think of that might cause your comments to get sent to moderation would be the tilde after your name...

Now, WHY the system finds it necessary to flag some symbols, I can't say. But, unusual symbols have triggered moderation in the past. The comments had NOTHING in them that would cause them to be flagged, and none of them were 1 smiley comments (which always get sent for moderation). So once again, the only other thing that I could see being a potential cause, might be that tilde in your name.

I think I found the issue...

You have a new account with no mocs posted yet. Your account can only be "fully" approved once you post a moc and we (the moderators) approve the account. Until your account is approved, ALL of your comments will go to moderation (I've seen this issue before a number of times so I'm well aware of it).

The reason it's setup like this is to discourage spammer accounts from simply commenting on 1,000 mocs with their link to buy new shoes at bargain prices (or whatever).

So yeah, long answer short... once you post a moc, we'll approve your account and then your comments won't be sent to moderation anymore.
