Topics like this don't help. Every time there's a problem all we get is "be patient". You should be used to this by now. If Sean wants to update us, he will, but more people begging won't make him.

Guys, believe it or not, Sean is not purposefully torturing you.
He's a busy man who runs this site for free. Don't like it? Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Yeah, I don't know if I haven't been getting e-mails, so I can't help with the validity, but these kinds of topics are useless. Stop freaking out, go to the page with all your groups and just open all the ones that you know have been active. That's what I've been doing because the activity bar hasn't been working. Sean is working hard, but MOCpages is not his entire life. He's off getting comissions and building sculptures to make a living. MOCpages is his side project for the community. And as much as he would love to help wih everyone's problems, he is just one guy with a few interns and not everyone is a techy that can fix problems 24/7 He's got to try and fix it himself first and then he calls someone to try to fix it. If you don't like that your problem has been fixed in the time you want and are not willing to wait, get off and go somewhere else.

Thanks for putting it out there Ru, some kids don't seem to understand that Sean is an adult. Adults have jobs, families, and higher priorities than maintaining a Lego website 24/7.

Yes, we miss MP working correctly and miss getting the notifications, but it takes time! These things can't be done in one night, do people not understand it? In my opinion, some do and some don't. Sean tries his best to keep the site working, it's time-consuming.

To sum it up: WAIT - BE PATIENT. Complaining about MP being down does NOTHING. Sean does the best he can, sometimes life takes precedence over a website.

All differences aside, I wish MP was working correctly. In the mean time, I suggest that you guys make Flickr accounts, there is a huge community over there that is VERY similar to MocPages. Some amazing builders not on MP are on Flickr, and some great builders from MP are also on Flickr. You can host your pics to MP, this is a guaranteed way to make images show up here on MP, that is mainly why I have a Flickr account. Flickr is such a great site, I recommend it as an alternative to MP when it's down.
