Internet Explorer 10 crashes all of the time. I cannot get on the site plenty of times. Firefox and Chrome do not. What is the deal?

That probably has something to do with Internet Explorer, not MOCpages.
Internet explorer is commonly accepted as the slow, chubby little brother of internet browsers.

I use Internet Explorer... It is my favorite browser!

Regardless of whether you like it more or less than other browsers, it's certainly not the best browser available... and you have firsthand experience, as stated in the first post of this page.

Switch to Chrome or Firefox. It's better off that way.

Also, try disabling some toolbars. If you have 3 or more toolbars enabled it'll slow IE down and make it unusable.

If that doesn't work, rage quit and download Firefox or Chrome.

Safari represent! Safari hasn't failed me yet (except when I go to Google Docs). I would think that either your browser is not working properly, or you might have Java or Flash player turned off, and that is causing the browser to collapse. I also have Firefox, and that works. You can download it for free, so that might be your best bet.

No, I might even get IE11 from Microsoft in the future!

I am on a Mac Mini my friend, so the system wouldn't even run (though I do have Microsoft Word, PPT, and Excel for Mac). Anyways, this is turning into a useless conversation; Mods, time for the old lock and no key.

What OS are you on? IE10 is relatively new (few months) for win7, if you're on win8 they should have had plenty of time to fix bugs. IE has been substandard for the last decade, use Chrome. What does IE really offer over other browsers?

Meh it works good enough to not drive me completely insane.

APPLE FTW! Anyways, if it really is a problem, just get Firefox of Google Chrome; they can be downloaded for free (yes, legally) and work better than Internet Explorer.

I use Google chrome, the problem with 8 OS is that it runs like a tablet, regular computers have a dashboard and runs programs from there, windows 8 pulls up programs in separate areas that regular computers don't and shouldn't have.
And everything that is made for say windows xp, or vista doesn't work on windows 8, instead I had to rebuy the current version of everything I had for my new computer...

Its understandable that internet explorer is a problem for anyone who uses a 8 OS mine doesn't even work on my dashboard, instead I have to open an APP page!!!, a internet explorer APP that removes a lot of multitasking
I once had. What's worse Is that windows 8 takes away a lot on user privliges, for example when I'm running a program I cant make shortcut so say I play some minecraft, If I close it I have to sign back in and go through all of that hassle, I have to manually go into my history and look at downloads and make a shortcut there, its not as simple as on a regular OS either, it takes "way" longer.

Basically though you can run programs in the dashboard, anything else that has to do with being on the internet "APP PAGE"

Apple, my friend, Apple. Its the future! Anyways, if MOCpages runs on your device, and your device operates like a mobile device, than you are definitely going to encounter problems like viewing pictures, reading some comments, watching videos, etc.

I was able to watch Lego 4 lifes video.
I do get a lot of errors, and am always refreshing pages. The most common is only the top half of a convo will load, and at the bottom of the page an error will go halfway through a comment and everything after that comment wont be there.

Yup, have that problem on a mobile device. The site isn't really made for mobile devices, so, I mean, these problems can be expected. I would chance your OS, or maybe get another device you could use for perusing around the 'pages.

LOL. I know it's a silly question, but where's AOL? That's what I use most of the time and only when a site says it is having problems do I change browsers. It's not too often I have to either. It's not the fastest, but I've had Chrome and Firefox not work and AOL be just fine.

Believe it or not, I've had more problems with Internet Explorer by itself than AOL, which uses an older form of Internet Explorer, which then shows Internet Explorer by itself is actually worse.

Than how does IE10 run AOL?

I don't know what version I have, AOL is version 9.7 and I'm done talking to you because you are annoying me now. I was simply sharing something, but you're just making me sound like a freak because I use some stuff nobody else uses. I may as well just mention I like music from 3 generations ago and not really anything new unless it rock music because just about every pop song is about going to a club and getting so wasted you do it with some random person and I don't support 10 year olds singing along to stuff like that, especially since they couldn't do any of that anyway. I don't own an iPod/Pad/Android/Tablet or anything that anyone uses, I still use VHS tapes and VCRs for recording TV shows and my clothes are simply plain T-shirts and simple caprenter jeans; sorry for not having the funds to go to HotTopic or to pay X amount a month for digital super cable and DVRs or all those mobile devices' companies making new versions "I must have." I don't know how AOL or Internet Explorer works, just so long as I am still able to do what I would like and not complain with it not always working. I was trying to add to the conversation because I've never had an issue with MOCpages in AOL that wasn't having an issue in all other browsers.

Ok. I just did not know AOL was still being made... That was just an old program in history I thought... Sorry, if it works then use it. I just use Firefox... You can use whatever you want... I still believe we get LEGO orders both with our browsers, that is similar! Maybe Firefox is newer than AOL in some areas, that is what I might be trying to say perhaps. :|
