I've been asked if it is possible to post music by adding video to a MOC (and adjusting the size of the frame to 0 so it cannot be seen, but is playing in the background). This has been discussed many times and while the general consensus from the admins was yes you can, I personally see no purpose to having music at all and do not advocate this.

This is a website for sharing pictures of LEGO, unless the video is LEGO centric I cannot condone its use and would advise against it.

Oh but it's so much fun! Half the time anymore becuase of YouTube changing the way they do stuff, the video player is too small. I think the only reason BIO-MOCists add music is because they know that people need something to listen too while they read the novel of a description given if they even read it. Besides, sometimes you find something you really like and it becomes a favorite of yours. Music can also give a feel for the build. Sure a graveyard MOC is nice, but when you start having low tone belltower chimes and long notes in a minor key, it really makes the MOC enjoyable. Music is only annoying when it autoplays. That is where adding music is bad.

I'm not saying it should be banned, that's Sean's call not mine, I'm just saying if people ask me what I'd prefer the answer would be NO music. End of discussion.
