When I looked it up on MSN translator and in my Dads English to German translation book, I got the same thing.

BTW aso you don't end up with a bad accent, Feuehr is not faiiore (like the english fire) its more like Fuoiar (spell it literally)

Speaking German would be kool, but Id rather not learn it, if that makes any sense. The German word for most things tends to be real long. For example: SweinenFleish, means pork. I may not have spelled it right but you get the idea. And if you look at the FULL names of Nazi tank instead of the abriviations, Panzer, Ausf or SdKfz, their like, Panzerkampfwegon, Ausheuhrung, Sonderkraftfahrzeug, wich translate to: armored combat wagon, acconplishmetn, and special motor vehicle, respectively. =)

SchweinenFleisch it's "Pork Meat" Pork is just "Schweine" The SchutzStaffel (SS) is not long if you compae it on the english translation.

I suppose your right, its just the foriegn language that makes it seem so much longe. Just FYI you had said aa gun (or cannon), an artillery peice is a cannon on land, and a gun when mounted on a ship! =)

Flaks weren't mounted on ships so they are cannons.
